Im not so sure about Solomon Hill. Yes hes impressive but im not sure if that will translate to the regular season. On the other hand, Olynck looks great and i think he'll have a good regular season. I apologize because i CANT articulate WHY i feel that way. its just a feeling i have.
Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better

Watching Oladipo right now what really gets your attention is how whenever his man strips the ball from him or scores, he comes right back with a three or steals the ball back. He did it every time he got showed up. You can take that too far, but so far he is delivering.

Varnado for Miami is no joke. He's going to give them a big boost defensively next season.

Announcers say its not a given that Varnado will get picked up. We could really use his D in the paint and he has pretty good court vision for a big man.

Hill will not get anywhere near the same minutes as Olynck Indiana will be a tough core to break

Apparently Plumlee had a great game against Varnado the other day, so he might not be consistent enough.

Olynyk is showing a lot of skill. This dude is gonna be a really good NBA player.
TKF on Melo ::....he is a punk, a jerk, a self absorbed out of shape, self aggrandizing, unprofessional, volume chucking coach killing playoff loser!!

Every piece from a coach or scout about Oladipo raved about him. They all talked about how hard he competes, his leadership ability and how hard he works. He has fantastic athletic ability and is already a lock down defender. His offensive game needs work but he will get there

Did he play PG at all

That's pretty much all he's been playing and doing a good job. Olapido has been blowing right by defenders and finding teammates under the rim, on the wing etc.. I don't know if they are going to convert him to a PG but he looks right now with time that he could handle it, at least spot minutes.

Olapido does get butterfingers sometimes when he gets near the rim, but its early. These SL games most of the time look like one big clusterfunk, so I think we would have to watch a few preseason games to get a better idea of how he would handle playing PG full time. I don't know what their long term plans are for him. This may be just temporary.

Its incredible how the Magic are able decade after decade to reload the way they do despite having superstars come and go. Speaks to the value of long term thinking.

It'll be interesting to see what the Nets have in store for Toko Shengelia -- will he be part of their plans this year or will he be a guy that gets forgotten about and becomes a FA next year? I like this dude's size and talent level.

This is the star..the fact he's transitioning to this position and for the most part looks better than half the backups in the NBA is telling.

I wonder if the plan is to give Shumpert heavy PG mins. in Summer League and then if he shows signs that he can handle it, to then transition him into more of a PG next year...With Felton & Shump at the point, it should open up minutes for THJ to play behind JR and also open up mins for Leslie behind Melo possibly if Shump doesn't have to play 3.

One option to replace Copeland's long range stroke: 6'8" 235 Tim Abromaitis. On Boston's SL squad -- not doing too much from what I've seen so far -- not forcing the issue, seems content to move the ball, plus I bet his teammates may not be completely familiar with him and how to use him (he's not getting set up properly to use his strengths).. I really liked him at Notre Dame. GREAT 3-pt shooter -- 43% 2 years in a row at ND before hurting himself, then shot the 3 over 40% last year in France. Debatable whether or not he's a true NBA player but his 3-pt shooting is definitely for real. Plays closer to Copeland than Novak -- like Cope, Abro can put it on the floor a little and he'll compete for rebounds too. He could really help us space the floor in certain matchups. Just a thought if we're even looking for a pure shooter to replace Cope, if this Ron Artest thing goes nowhere, if Shawne Williams wants too much money again, etc..

Give Steve Adams credit. He looked much more comfortable and every part of a late lotto pick. Olynck easy easy MVP. If there is a better nba player from this draft I will be surprised. McWilliams has a lot of work to do. He is not ready to take over an nba team. Okc. I think they will be better this year as they inc. Jackson and lAmb. Overall. It was. No and everyone else from this draft. No one stood out consistently like him. Even today made every 2 pt shot he took + 10 reb

Even over Dipo? I haven't seen many games so I can't tell. It looks like Kelly will have to get a little stronger from the little I've seen, but the kid can score. Kinda reminded me of bargs. I think Jackson on OKC has looked the most polished from the little I've seen.

Would you say Trey Burke has been the biggest disappointment so far?

I had the same feeling trying to watch. Guess they are making it a lower quality production
