Yea his coach was in the headlights too, because Doc Rivers coached circles around him with no pg coach on the floor.

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

COULD IT BE THAT WOODSON DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO COACH ROOKIES AND IN TURN PUTS TOO MUCH PRESSURE ON THEM NOT TO MESS UP ?

Yeah Rivers coached circles around him to the tune of a series loss. Then again Rivers didn't have Rondo and 3 future hall of famers to "coach" so it speaks that much more of how Woody sucks and Rivers is great. Can't wait to see how Rivers out coaches the rest of the West with only 1 current future hall of famer on his team.

Shump is from Chicago and is a self motivator who wants to shut down his opponent. No need to give Woody credit for that, it was already there. Hopefully Hardaway is the same.

This a thousand times over and it was Dantoni who drafted and played Shumpert not Woodson

Who would have MDA or Woodson played over Shump?

You would have thought we lost the series and didn't get 3 blowout wins. If that's getting circles c oached around you I'll take it.

It's been widely stated that Walsh left the pick of Shump or Singleton up to MDA and he chose Shump.

Sh!t we should have kept this guy. Then again our rocket scientist coach wouldn't play him. Because he was taking shots away from MElo and unlike MElo he was actually making them!
TKF on Melo ::....he is a punk, a jerk, a self absorbed out of shape, self aggrandizing, unprofessional, volume chucking coach killing playoff loser!!

Now this could be the real reason why we didn't sign him, not the last part of what you said, but he could have demanded the ball more like Kukoc when he took the last shot and Pippen sulked on the bench in dismay when he hit the big shot for Chicago over Anthony Mason.

Mind you i'm not saying he's (Copeland) is as good as Tony Kukoc

Indiana is the better team. They proved it on the court! They helped themselves by getting a decent two way player and by forcing us, their competioon, to find someone else. Addition by subtraction, the enemy of my enemy is my friend, you get the point.
Can't defend Woody on not playing him more, he should have. This past playoffs there were several examples of coaches trying to think they smarter than they are. Vogel pulling Hibbert in one of the games and Pops not having Duncan in the game during the final minutes of another.

That's not quite the same situation though. Phil Jackson gave Kukoc the ball, Kukoc didn't demand it. And besides, I never saw Copeland making any demands.

Now the joy of my world is in Zion How beautiful if nothing more Than to wait at Zion's door I've never been in love like this before Now let me pray to keep you from The perils that will surely come
