I think Pablo has Jason Kidd written all over him - maybe good for the first two months of the year, then nothing. Hope I am wrong.

That's why I believe we need another PG. I believe Pablo will help the team as long as he isn't relied on too much.

Brandon Wright would be a good pick up too. Good blocked shot rate.

good idea VDesai...ive always like BWright

my wish list (now that delfino is gone) =
- PG = telfair/selby
- SF = dahntay jones
- PF = Brand/BWright

Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better

I would take a shot at cole Aldridge

I really don't like any of the pgs left besides Robinson,Brook, and Bynum.

wings I'd go pj tucker and alan Anderson.

I think it would be best to go after some overseas talent. however there has not been any noise about anyone so that is unlikely.

Forgot about Anderson. At least he wouldn't be lighting up the Knicks if they signed him.

Richard Hamilton could be an interesting option, he's been injured so his stock is low right now we might be able to snag him cheap. Hamilton is an elite midrange shooter, he played under Woodson on the championship Pistons.

At this point with what's left out there, I'd like to see any of these additions (in order by position):

PG (need for a 2nd quick/potent PG to pair up with Felton still remains)
Aaron Brooks
Roddy Beaubois
Charles Jenkins (show some vision and take a chance on this kid's size & talent level)
--------
Curtis Jerrells
Michael Loyd Jr.

SG (no longer a dire now with JR back but just in case they wanted further depth)
Jermaine Taylor
Jamelle Horne
Chris Douglas-Roberts
Gerardo Suero
Scotty Hopson (on Miami's SL squad)
Dominique Jones
Tyler Brown
Dwayne Davis
--------
6'6" 220 Tony Mitchell (interested to see this kid in SL--size, athleticism and defense look to be there; too bad he doesn't shoot it better)
6'5 Toure' Murry (ditto Mitchell--I like what I see in the video Ned put up--uneven college stats give me pause, although he was more efficient in the DL though)

SF (scorer behind Melo, Copeland replacement)
Craig Brackins (doesn't have Cope's pure 3-pt stroke but a much more versatile scorer/flat out better all-around player)
Horne, CDR and Hopson all work here too.
EDIT: Shawne Williams

BIGS (no vet big before a quick vet PG)
Earl Barron (he'll take the vet minimum and he's a good, underrated player. Sometimes the answers are right under your nose the whole time)
Elton Brand (again, not over Brooks or Beaubois though. Charles Jenkins we should be able to get for less -- Brand for the rest of the mini-MLE AND Jenkins on a cheap deal would be two shrude moves to address two needs--the money may be there for both players in this combination)
--------
Jamelle Hagins
Marcus Cousin
Jordan Williams
JaJuan Johnson
Brandon Davies
Trevor Mbakwe

PG: Felton, Prigioni
SG: JR Smith, Iman Shumpert, Hardaway

SF: GAPING HOLE

PF: Melo, Bargnani, Amare
C: Chandler, Amare, Bargnani

The Knicks are best when Melo is at the 4.

Iman doesn't like playing SF.

That should be our biggest priority. Delfino is dunzo.

Honestly we all know the Knicks have no $, no flexibility and pretty much are gonna settle for whoever is left over. Someone like Dahntay Jones. We'd be lucky to get Brand.

Interesting guy: Stephen Jackson could be our Latrell Spreewell. Lord knows we have the minutes for him and could use his toughness, defense, and outside shot.

Let's try to elevate the level of discourse in this byeetch. Please

As someone else mentioned in another thread regarding RIP.

We would be getting the dead corpse of Richard Hamilton --- unfortunately he appears to be done.

There is the Woody connection - kind of hope you are wrong.

The question is can he stay healthy? He's still productive averaged about 10/2/2 in 22 minutes a game for Chicago last season.

Some of you guys on here suggest bums lol, seriously I don't want undrafted players, summer leaguers, euro leaguers, journeyman making this team. We may not have much money but there's still veteran guys and younger guys flying under the radar who we can snag for cheap.

Attainable:

At guard I like Brooks,Stephen Jackson {Toughness}
(Youth/Development)
Toure Murry (Youth/Development)

For Bigs, I like K-Mart(SF-PF-C){Toughness}, Shawne Williams (SF) {Toughness}
(Youth/Development)
Greg Oden (C), Jorts (PF){Toughness}

You can bank on it that the Knicks will bring in a European Guard or SF

He is not on the Summer League squad, but he is a lunch-pale hustle big that hits the 3 and is not easily intimated.
