They then Amnesty Amre and have cap room for Howard! Everyone wins...

A) you can't amnesty players you trade for
B) warriors already used their amnesty on a $2 or 3 mil contract last offseason- biggest waste of the amnesty I've ever seen!

Damn.... thanks for the update smackeddog

Personally I've never like the guy. The only reason he's considered a star is that he is the best player at a position that is basically non existent in today's NBA. Granted it's not his fault but I don't see exactly what makes him great. For starters the guy is not a franchise player. He's a clear #2.

Listening to ESPN on the radio I'm disgusted by that he's given all the credit for the finals appearance! Anyone who actually watched those playoffs KNOWS that a majority of the credit should go to Hedo and Rashard for the way they played. He did play well as he's a good player but the love for his game is sickening.

If he cares anything about actually winning in this league he goes to Houston or forces the Lakers into a deal with Golden State.

So, looking like he's off to the Warriors. A few days ago there was talk of him wanting to be with two stars, not just like the one on the Rockets. Warriors have now signed Iggy to go with Curry. Dwight has also tweeted he's decided and will announce it over the weekend- guess that's to give the Warriors time to sort out a trade with the Lakers. Either the Lakers accept Barnes/Thompson and Bogut for Dwight or he can go to the Rockets and they get nothing.

Wonder what the rockets do now? Josh Smith? Bynum? Anyone like the Warriors job this offseason?

I agree- some nice players available. Not all stars, but difference making role players like Asik, Jack, Millsap etc

Cuban told ESPN that they're "fully" out of the hunt for Howard and with GS signing Iguodala that leaves LA and Houston, I'll be very surprised if he goes back. There is always ATL, but I doubt he goes there either.

Golden State could be readying a deal w/ LA. Perhaps offering Bogut, Barnes and a #1 for D12 in a s&t. I think Sam Amick jumped the gun.. maybe his source wasn't as reliable. I agree that he likely won't be a Laker for long, but certainly won't rule out The State because they signed Iggy. Stay Tuned For More Drama LOL

GS just said that they were pessimistic about signing him but if they can pull this off, wow. Wojo on Yahoo just said that several league sources have confirmed it, but who knows? I thought I heard LA say they would rather let Howard walk than sign and trade, maybe if its clear that he isn't coming back they will do a 180. Barnes is no joke.

It's confirmed.. Wojnarowski is rarely wrong about this NBA stuff. He's taking his talents to Houston

I wouldn't be surprised now if Houston places a call to Boston for Rondo now

Shaq didn't like Stan Vandummy either and I think Shaq has been around great coaches.

Put Howard around a coach who knows how to coach big men and he will dominate again. Danphoney and Vandummy failed with Howard. Going to Houston will do his career good!

Anybody ever get the number of how many kids Wilt Chamberlin fathered, him banging 20,000 is a lot of women not to want to be impregnated and get money from him.

Yeah like paying Lin $8 per season for a year slightly better than Ray Felton who makes half of that. I think it's fair to say that he knows how to screw teams with the new CBA.
