You know people criticize the Melo trade but the knicks stack assets but still tried to build a competitive team. You get players you need to keep the team concept. David Kahn on the other hand was a straight ******* drafting point guard after point guard and stockpiling small fwds. He's a jackass for that. You can stack assets but you need to look like your team has a plan/culture/style of play....you don't just gather random players with the hopes of flipping them for someone better....that is redonkulous
