Why are people done with Tyson? Everyone played badly in the playoffs.
TKF on Melo ::....he is a punk, a jerk, a self absorbed out of shape, self aggrandizing, unprofessional, volume chucking coach killing playoff loser!!

lololololol dangggg sorry you don't approve killa. In all fairness, i'm thinking about the point guard spot. Figured we'd need a center and although McGee's contract is crazy.. he does have upside. Y'all do realize that unless you are trading Shumpert and Chandler you won't get a marquee name back!?!

So I Guess.. I shouldn't even start my next post about Rip Hamilton. He was waived, i'm thinking it would be a low cost move. Mid-range game is still up to par-- veterans minimum perhaps????

You're taking back a worse contract than Tyson's for a worse player who is a bonehead and all we get back is Andre Miller? Andre is a solid player, but denver makes out huge in this deal, even just to trade Tyson for something better. McGee is a headache of a project. There's some potential you just don't gamble on, especially when it comes with his price tag.

What if they included a future pick of sorts? lol

A future pick vs. room to sign a max contract FA in 2015? It's not even close. We're still giving up the best player in the deal too. They'd have to include several unprotected 1st round picks for me to consider it.

And while his man was destroying him and he couldn't hold onto the ball he went to the media and criticized his team and took no ownership for his poor play. Tyson isn't supposed to be that guy. One of the reason he is in NY is because he is supposed to be a leader with championship experience. Those guys don't do what Tyson did. Nothing wrong with his words if they are said among teammates but going to the media when you were the biggest reason your team was losing and calling out your team/teammates was not the act of a guy that is supposed to be a leader in your locker room. His bad play was tolerable. Maybe his neck was still messed uup. But when you play as badly as he did and you go to the media and call out your teammates you have crossed a line. No problems with Tyson being moved. Part of his large salary is for his intangibles (i.e. character, locker room presence), he showed that in the biggest moments when he is needed most those intangibles aren't there. Move him out if the right deal comes up.

if it doesn't involve Peko, Asik, or Gortat and Dragic just stop. I would like to hear suggestions bow to get Vasquez because he is about the only player who's decent that fits into the trade exception.

OK.. we can scrap this idea smh. Just sayin tho, cap space is nice.. but players gotta be willing to take that gwap. I don't wanna see us end up targeting a dude only to end up w/ a marginal free agent (The Decision has rendered me skeptical, wanted Lebron got a broken Amare ).. Furthermore, the worst would be to over pay in our signing that yr; I get it tho, McGee's contract stinks.. the "skill ain't iller than his will" (Half a dozen in one hand, half in the other)

Don't worry my next pseudotrade will be better!!!

Tyson was injured a couple of times last year. Between injures he played well. Remember the string of 20+rebound games. Guys need to DVR games so they can go back and refresh their memories because some people are trying to revise history here.

the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt

I remember. His defense was an issue the ENTIRE season last year. Coming off a DPOY award that's incredibly disappointing. Add in limited scoring ability and lack of defensive rebounding and throw his monstrous contract up there, and I guess it's no wonder no one has taken him off our hands.

Hell I'm making a case for this Denver trade right now haha.

Cap space >>>> especially when you already have a superstar talent and you have a NY market. Now if I'm the raptors, I'm stockpiling picks and young talent, but this is NYC. Players want to play here. The decision was heartbreaking, but Amare probably also netted us Melo, and if we upgrade our roster in '15 with Melo and other stars, we could have real success. At the moment, I'm just enjoying the wins. I can't go back to the dark ages of 20 win seasons..
