I would like to have Melo at sf the majority of the time and id like to see Melo and JR to average 4.5 assists per game. We have enough scoring contrary to what most people think... you can score without "scorers", its called turnovers and great passing. Get our top two scorers to move the ball more and watch our team shooting percentage increase dramatically. If I could I would add a defensive bigman to really solidify our defense. I just dont think we need to make any drastic changes.. it all depends on Melo and JR becoming more team oriented.

These guys have been in the NBA for along time they arent going to walk in next year and drastically change their games. This team is stuck for the next 2 years. The Knicks only hope is they clean house in 2015 and Melo takes a cap friendly deal. If he doesnt do that i think we should move on from him. The Knicks need to make Melo at least the teams 2nd best player or they arent winning a championship. There is no way with small tweaks this team is winning anymore then they did this year.Even if they luck into a perennial All Star at 24 it still wont be enough for next season.I hate to be Doom and Gloom but its the truth.

why even ask carmelo to take a lesser deal.. that isn't going to happen.. trade him while you can..sell high.. start rebuilding now... if the knicks believe in shumpert start him, and get him a PG or a wing ala paul george who can develop with him... don't waste these years with carmelo and early exits.. he is not changing...

The problem with this is we have no 2014 Draft pick. I would be perfectly fine with this way of thinking if we had it. Knicks could probably deal Melo for a high lottery pick in this draft. U then suck next season and get another high lottery pick.Suck again and get another high lottery pick. Now U have 3 high Lottery picks on the team. Chandler gets dealt for more picks. Anybody on the team is dealt for 2nd round picks that we can shed if need be in 2015. U go into FA in 2015 with 40 Million in cap space and 3 Top 8 Draft picks on the roster.

YEA, NOT having picks in consecutive years makes it harder to rebuild....

Anyone who sits around and waits for the lottery to better themselves, either in real life or in sports, Is a Loser............... TKF

That's not true. He rarely is guarded by a 3 and teams still crowded the box. Knicks need to go back normal. There rebounding and Defense is better when Chandler has a traditional big with him. The loss of offensive efficiency is minor and made up by a better defensive efficiency and rebound percentage.

TC for Gortat and Beasley. Gortat is bigger and grabs same amount of RBS as TC. Beasley adds scoring and he can play the 4 at 6"10.

Why would Phoenix do that?

Now the joy of my world is in Zion How beautiful if nothing more Than to wait at Zion's door I've never been in love like this before Now let me pray to keep you from The perils that will surely come

3-Way trade

Gortat and Beasley to the Knicks.

Deandre Jordan to the Suns

Tyson Chandler to the Clippers

Not likely but we could do

Deandre Jordan to Celtics

Tyson Chandler to Clippers

Kevin Garnett to Knicks
