ed him and the Knicks if he remained patient and let us keep our assets--he traded the help he needed--but to say Carmelo Anthony is not a top player is absurd. Youre the same poster who says Monta Ellis is game changer Ellis has never even been on one winning team Melo has been on some really good teams If you want to say Melos own personal greed is a problem then yes. His play 1 of only a few on the planet
top player? you don't need to be a top player to make it to the conference finals-- unless you consider paul george and roy hibbert top players. and while we're at it are parker, duncan, ginobili top players?
nobody has any of these players in the top 5 in the league or labels them "game changers." maybe parker was rated top-5 this season?
duncan is an all-nba first team-- as a center. he plays the game the right way
parker is a second team all-nba. plays the game the right way
paul george is 3rd team all-nba. plays the game the right way
ginobili plays the game the right way.
hibbert plays the game the right way.
what you need are a couple of top 20 players who play the game the right way. most don't demand max money either.
how is melo a game changer or a top player if he doesn't play the game the right way, the way that helps teams rather than hinders them?
knicks win 38-43 games in 16-17. rose MUST shoot no more than 14 shots per game, defer to kp6 + melo, and have a usage rate of less than 25%
