to my mind, these guys are just clutter, they take away from the game instead of adding to it,

Some guys deserve to be tuned out but some guys have a lot of insight. I love listening to Hubie or Dr, Jack. I think JVG is really good. I also like Clyde. Reggie and Steve are good as well. I think it is the halftime shows where there is a lot more idiot wind clichés thrown around. I still listen though.

I don't listen to the analyst for their input, I watch TnT's crew sometimes for their entertainment, humorous plays like for Shaqtin a Fool, and the highlights
To be honest, you seem to be of a "casual" fan of basketball

maybe you pay slightly more attention to the Knick's, and more on gym topics, like what poster's bench press in a gym and why not more weight training on a Knick's website =D

It was funny when you shot down another person's post on to someone's opinion on the OKC vs Memphis series, saying OKC should blow Memphis out, meanwhile not even knowing WestBrook had been injured since game 3 vs Houston, a good amount of games after

If you only knew what he's really here for, I figured it out. It's surely not basketball.

you're a creepy guy, honestly.

i'm not a casual fan, i'm probably more of a fan of basketball than everyone here combined,

here's why:

i play basketball in a local adult league, and i do this all year, every year, and will do so until i am under the earths, because i love to play basketball,

second: i love new york knicks, just not a fan of what i see correctly as some crumbs, they will not do anything good!

that's good for you, I haven't been in the gym and on the courts
I just wanted to "break your balls" about the Westbrook thing, couldn't help it LOL
Was trying to be funny not a creep

And

Boy have I been out of shape and age is catching up with me, it isn't worth the pain for the game when you do not get payed for it, def not worth paying for tourny's either
Indoors is better on your back/joint's/knee's/ankle's than concrete

You were right Ron Ron , only a "CASUAL FAN" wouldn't have known Westbrook was hurt and done for the rest of the series against Memphis in the playoffs.

^^^ GREAT CALL...i liked wally alot (way better than tripuka)...i also like CWebb...i almost was going to use "reggie" and "like" in the same sentence...BLASHPEMY!!
Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better

Stephen A Smith. No, I don't respect his opinion most, that would probably be Kenny or Hubie. But what I've realized is that between Sportscenter, First Take, & ESPN radio, his is the opinion I listen to the most! His opinion is what is being drilled into my cerebral cortex. Not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing. But I find him rather funny and entertaining. And sometimes he even says things that make sense in terms of basketball.

yikes...Screamin A Smith should never be in your cerebral cortex. LOL. Hes funny and he keeps it real. my only beef with him is that hes close to these players and loses his objectivity

Of these guys, I think I'd go with Bill Simmons. Charles Barkley and Kenny Smith are the most entertaining of the group, but they have a high percentage of being wrong, in my opinion.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

I agree with you here. Stephen A. Smith is my favorite. He's by far the most entertaining. There are times that what he's saying doesn't pass the logic test because he gets too emotional, but if you can recognize and drop these times, the rest of what he's saying has high value, in my opinion.

YES. That's it exactly. When he's not overcome by emotion, he's not bad. And I prefer him to Skip Bayless, at the very least.

Kenny the Jet! I like his analysis, he gives a good player's perspective and what can be going through a player's mind during critical moments.
Rose is not the answer.
