Here you go. If you click "Splits" you can choose individual months or your own date range.

To draft one Walt Frazier would be considered lucky, to have the fortune and skill to draft 3 of them is why we are the nba's premier franchise today.

This past season Shumpert took 80 shots in the restricted area and hit 35 of them for a shooting percentage of 43.75% and 39.6% overall. If he shot 60.9% at the rim he goes 49/80 at the rim and raises his overall shooting percentage to 44.72%.

The #s here look a little different. It has him at 48% at the rim.
http://www.hoopdata.com/player.aspx?name=Iman%20Shumpert

Regardless, his #s were pretty bad everywhere except 3 point range. 48% at the rim is about 10 to 15 below the league average. Then he shot in the mid 20s from 3 to 9 and 10 to 15 feet and 38% from 16 to 23 feet.

All that's true but as a rookie on a good knee he was at 60.9% at the rim then continued to shoot the 3ball well, which is the only thing he was able to work on. I think that is very positive stuff. I don't think he will be Paul George but I think he can become a very good two way player.

Paul George has been under the radar and from this time moving foward people and players will be watching him. The players who will now play against him will play that much harder, more double teams and being more physical. I give him credit but lets see what he does moving foward. If the Pacers beat the Heat he will bet a lot of credit. If the Pacers loose he will be just another player who went to the eastern finals and loss. Anyway he is not a Knick so I really don't care what he doe I care only about the players on the Knicks.

Lest we forget Toney Douglas was Chauncey Billups for a blip

Lest we forget Jordan Hill was a Young Amar'e Stoudemire

Lest we forget Channing Frye was Rasheed Wallace

I dont think PG will fold like Lin did with that added pressure of being noticed.

He's definitely left his mark on Melo, and to a degree Lebron as well.

I do think Shump is a better defender as he did check Pierce and ironically Paul George pretty well.

Whether Shuimp can be like PG is really dependant on what the Knicks do with his development.

He already has the defensive tools, everything things else is a matter allowing mistakes to happen on the court as he continues to get better in the process.

PG still has alot of offensive issues, mainly passing and shooting.

Walsh did not draft well when he was with the Knicks. Isn't Rautins older then Reddick?

I see his ability to INITIATE our defense on our opponents PG's as his biggest strength
We all know this kid has a great work ethic and with a summer to finally work on his strengths in addition to his weaknesses, we will be seeing a huge upgrade next season
Hopefully he can become our 3rd goto guy in a more free flowing offense and stays as a Knick because these are the types of players we need
His athleticism/speed/quickness are some of the things he has to work on, in addition to his handle/ability to penetrate/finish with contract

It is still up in the air if he could be closer to Sprewell/Westbrook/ or Tony Allen with more skills but SKY is the limit for this kid and I am glad he is still a Knick
I really hope he starts a voluntary work out program with many players on our roster to work with the things above with trainers
Working on strength with reps and NOT weight, coordination/balance with flexibility with pilates/core training

With whoever we pick in the draft, I hope he sets something up to continue to work hard and build continuility with each other

Felton
JR
Kidd

Amare *he got much slower and less mobile
Camby

Cope
Melo *has plenty to work on to add to his game*/Kidd *yes put in that work with that exp*

Actually, I think Jordan Hill was the first pick to unite the boards- EVERYONE thought it was a terrible pick. The most favorable comparison for him was "Chris Wilcox with a motor" and even that turned out to be over doing it (he was surprisingly lazy). Just a bad pick and everyone knew it at the time.

do you realize how ridiculous it is to point to one game to try to prove your point.. Ok, so what about games one and two? should we say shumpert will be the next paul george every time he has a bad game? come on man.. HE is nothing like paul george, doesn't have the game, height or length.. and shumpert can't help this... and coming off an ACL injury is irrelevant...

really why must knick fans grab hold to something, blow it through the roof and try to justify it at all cost? It is ok if shumpert won't be as good as paul George, not many players in the league will be very soon...
