So the NBA only has one superstar. Lebron James?

I think thats the problem....Define superstar?

I can't call anybody a superstar, if they can't play defense, or bring something else to the table, other than scoring. Unless Melo was a dominant Center that scores in the paint....Melo is a jump shooting scorer, and Durant is even a better jump shooting scorer.

I can't think of one superstar that can only do 1 think great, and the rest is average or below.

Rodman is a good example. Great rebounder, defender, blocks shots, and athletic enough to out run most players at his position. But the average fan would take Melo over Rodman.......

You can't simply be just a scorer, and call yourself a superstar.

We added Melo with Amari, because Miami got Lebron, Wade and Bosh. Otherwise, we should've built a team around Stat or around Melo.....Add young stars that compliment either player, not both. And not just add stars just to use up the cap room and say we have 2 to match Miami's 3.....We were doomed from the very beginning since Lebron made the big decision.

Born in Brooklyn, Raised in Queens, Lives in Maryland. The future is bright, I'm a Knicks fan for life!

No, there's
Durant (on his way out of the playoffs)
CP3 (out of the playoffs)
Dwight Howard (out of the playoffs)
Deron Williams (out of the playoffs)

Those are the true superstars!

Don't forget Harden and Curry!

I'm sure all these teams are dying to trade these guys after the post season failures just like us trying to trade Melo. It's unreal.

Thing is, all these other teams have better younger talent surrounding their best player. We have a bunch of players eligible for Medicare.

That doesn't matter. You win or lose based on who your 2-3 best players are. The issue with the a knicks isn't so much that Melo is their best player. It's more that JR Smith is the 2nd best player.

pacers are going to give the heat a very tough series! their only flaw is turnovers which plays into the heat's hands.

the pacers keep their turnovers down the heat will be up against it i guarantee it.

knicks win 38-43 games in 16-17. rose MUST shoot no more than 14 shots per game, defer to kp6 + melo, and have a usage rate of less than 25%
