The Heat still have Lebron wade and Bosh. The Bulls will have Rose back Younger teams will be up and coming. What does this team do? Were capped out and draft picks are gonzo.

We're stuck pretty much no out....This is what happens when you construct teams like this and strip it of all it's future flexibility.

Gotta suck it up and watch the suck, suck the life out of you as a fan....

Hey smoke and mirrors we played a very decent season--but the bottom line is we had too many older players and + 1 of our main guys has fatal knee problems that were stuck with does anyone hev a magic 8 ball?

How come myself and a few others knew Martin and Chandler would not work together. Maybe we can start up multiple threads of "I TOLD YOU SO"

Woodson really let me down this series....More than the players.

It doesn't matter what our GM does, if Woodson continues to play his favorite players.

We got to this point with our 3 ball....and putting our 3 pt shooters on the floor.

Now he decides to play Kenyon, Chandler, Amari, Shump.....All these players forced our best shooters to ride the bench.

What we do from here? Find a coach thats not afraid to sit his high dollar players.

Born in Brooklyn, Raised in Queens, Lives in Maryland. The future is bright, I'm a Knicks fan for life!

What to do now is to try to do the same thing we did this year only better (i.e., bring in seasoned vets for the minimum, along with overseas guys, to play around our big 3), and hope for the best. Couple years time, all of those big contracts are gone, and if we're smart (which we won't be) we can rebuild from scratch.

Big 3?

You mean MElo, the d-league center, and the wounded messiah? What is big about that? Chandler and Amare are wasted space. Screw them both. We should be searching around the clock for a way to remove both of these guys from our roster, although Amare will need to be paired with other assets. Melo needs to be surrounded by quality nba talent, NOT role players. You can't build a team of role players. You need a team of quality players with role players to fill in the gaps. Enough 3pt specialists, enough defensive-only guys, get two way players for heaven's sake, or at least guys that have diverse skillsets.

we got exposed as old and teams pushed the pace against us.

we need a pg that can bring the ball up quickly, and we need youth.

The team gets retooled, and I bet we take a step back next year record wise.

What were record wise after the hot start- just slightly over 500?

Well the odds say we have a less than 5% chance to win this series now--what from these games do you walk away with that says we get beat this team 3 games in a row? Lets face facts this team was put together shtty. We paid too much for Melo because we didnt have the right assets to go around him--now were stuck and fcked.

Knicks invested a ton of money in Melo, Amare and Tyson. I think the only investment that is paying off is Melo. Tyson seemed to be trying harder tonight but what was up with his hands? He was given the ball in great position and just kept fumbling it.

I am not too high on Melo right now. He can't even shoot 50% or better for more than 1 game in these playoffs. That April run was nice, but that means nothing when you can't produce that in the playoffs.

Chandler for Smith in Atlanta. Next year go with Amare, Camby, Martin and Barron as Centers. Team speed needs to increase. Look to upgrade the SG position and add a young PG from draft. Cannot comeback with JR Smith no way. pick up another vet type if Hamilton gets let go than sign him to replace JR.

Bingo. Pull the trigger on that deal as SOON as the playoffs are done.

If we could get Bledsoe I'd definitely keep Kidd to tutor him. Kidd's minutes would be GREATLY reduced going forward though.

Knicks are a 2PG offense. Minutes are there for both, especially if Kidd leaves. Bledsoe plays big.

Only players worth building around on this team is felton and shump.

Suck it up, enjoy early playoff exits for the forseeable future.

Rose is not the answer.

I'm sorry to say that I have to agree with that. This team was built to be almost, but not quite good enough to contend. We can hold on and make the playoffs for a few years and not much more or we can break it up, bite the bullet and rebuild with good draft picks and cap room. The problem is that Knick fans aren't patient enough to endure a serious rebuild.
