Yea 40% shooting. Melo has sucked in the playoffs. 1 assist that's doing his part. He's really made a big difference. Beating one depleted ****ty Boston squad. No different then marbury.

and does he have any assists?

Didn't gut the team. We lost gallo, chandler, and moz and have replaced their production. Got Felton back.

Yes. We gutted the team.

2 role players. Gutted?

We gutted our only trade assets and cap space

We would be over the cap regardless. We paid Melo instead of gallo and chandler combined. Better value.

Who says we had to pay Gallo and Chandler? I referred to them in my post as trade assets.

They were due for big paydays. They would not have been big trade assets after that season. Regardless I now associate Melo with leading us to a division win and playoff series win. Can't say that about gallo, chandler, amare, Marbury, etc.

This team may have won 53 games and beat a Rondo less older Celtic team--but this may have been a peaking cycle---lets remember this was an older team--how does it improve--we used Kidd Wallace Prigioni etc.. to get off to the great start and moving melo to 4 and JR Smiths resurgence lead the final 18-21 games to get to 54. But this team has problems my friend big problems

+10000000000000!!!! Don't why people wanted Melo here NO MATTER WHAT!!! Really??? Good luck with that!

We would not have won a playoff series without getting him, so leave it at that. Nothing else matters but winning. How did Denver do?

We could've beat a wounded 7th seed Celtics team

That team wouldn't been a 2 seed. 8 or 7 at best if they managed to crawl in...

Exactly.

Marbury did not lead us to a division win and playoff series win. So if winning matters to you then he is different then Marbury.

No one would get assists with abysmal shooters around you.

It is time for another restructure. You have to turn Camby, Novak, and the Non guarantees into something.

A beat up star with no supporting cast. All the Pacers have to do is focus on Melo and the rest of the team well you know folds including the coach. What the F was Woody doing pulling Copeland after hitting a three.

So, you crawl out of your cave to take another dump on Melo? Plenty of assists to be had but the team couldnt buy a shot, shooting near 33%. Mlo threw and alley-oop to Chandler who missed point blank dunk. Melo drove and dished to Felton for a wide open 3, he clanked it, same with JR and KMart....Comapring Melo to Marbury to off-base...Marbury barley got this team over .500 let alone make a quick cameo one year in the playoffs...

Can you find the quote of the poster who said this?

Don't know. Don't feel like looking. But we both know that there were a lot of posters talking about how clutch Melo is, and he just hasn't been.

Melo did miss Chandler and Martin about 5 times underneath the basket. On a few of those he passed it to the wings but still you have to give it to the bigs down low. CHandler is powered by his offense.

I'm pretty sure no one said he was the most clutch superstar in the league.....Its understood you dont like Melo based on your posts. No need to exaggerate to make your point.

Once you accept the point, I'm happy to withdraw the exaggeration.

Unless your name is Magic or Stockton, your gonna miss players from time to time especially when your a scorer and not a facilitator. Felton, Kidd and Priggs are here to not miss open players.....

Yeah this holds no weight. Irrelevant fact.

Come on now without Melo we don't make the playoffs. When are we going to face the fact that Amare got hurt.

It really doesn't matter what the others did it is about Melo and will always be about Melo. That just comes with the territory. You have to do everything in your power to have a great game every game, regardless. EVen if you have great games and you lose the blame will be pointed at you. It is what it is.
