Those knees ain't springing like it's 2004.

Hope and pray for the mid range jumper and a few nice passes to Chandler for easy dunks. Add 5-6 rebounds and 1 or 2 really noisy blocks, and it's Christmas/Channukah in May!

but they were springing pretty well in 2013. If we can get what he was giving us before this latest procedure, then I will be happy. It was reported on Ultimateknicks.com that he (Amare) was going through his arsenal of post moves along with his fadeaway jumper and that he was looking and moving very well.

Dude is a true freak of nature. Few people would be able to go through all the procedures he's had and still be able to play and produce at a high level.

the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt

Or even want to... Can you imagine going thru all the physical therapy and training to rehab aft a knee surgery, and then having to do it all over again for the other knee? The same year! After all the rehabbing he did the last two years? Takes dedication. Other players would have thrown in the towel this year and just collected their money. I give credit for that.

Now the test of all that dedication approaches quickly.

Shift du Jour

Jason Kidd, who makes his first three point shot of May
Earl Smith Jr, who goes 9-17 from the field, "what slump?"
Chris Copeland, finally gaining a playoff groove, scores 14 points to match his uni
Amare Stoudemire, with inspiration from Whodini, "five minutes of funk", 4 rebounds, 3 points, 2 turnovers
Kenyon Martin, double technical with Tyler Hansbrough and gets tossed in the third quarter

Knicks in overtime

IMHO, Amare can only help. He's not going to get major minutes, I'm thinking 10-12 minutes at most. Get him in the low post do a little banging and hopefully get some fouls called on Hibbert and West.
