Definitely been a pet peeve of mine this postseason. They're starting this chant in the first and second quarters...do you really think that's going to help the cause?!
Not to mention the entire building is coming off as whiny as our players sometimes, even if there is a legit bad call (and there have been).

And Frank Vogel doesn't budge when the Pacers face a majority small-ball team, as is the case in this series. He's content having West hide out on Iman Shumpert or Jason Kidd while the Pacers' small forward, Paul George, defends Carmelo Anthony — New York's nominal power forward. It's a bit awkward, since West has to float around the perimeter and George has to scramble to locate Anthony while transitioning from offense to defense (since Anthony rarely defends George), but it's a tradeoff Vogel is willing to make in exchange for having Anthony defend West on the other end.

I have faith that Woody and staff will have found a way to punish Indy for putting West on Shump.

Does anyone else?

Our 3's have to fall and the ball has to go inside and out for us to punish their defense. If Melo is going to take the volume of shots he's been taking he needs to do so confidently, and if they're not falling, move the ball. There's been a tentativeness about his game. I don't know if it's because he's not getting calls, he;s injured or what. But we need a confident Melo.

Keep a short leash on JR. Play Cope. Hit some 3's Novak.

Last time they lost like that? 1995 against the Pacers - lost in 7.

It has always annoyed me when writers continually post stats like that- this team has never been in the playoffs, how is the performance of past knick teams relevant?! I remember in the 1999 run they kept endlessly going on about how a 8th seed had never beaten a 1st seed.

Still, we made this series a lot harder by blowing the first game and I'm mad about it.

WE HAVE TO WIN TONIGHT'S GAME! We've looked pretty bad the past few games- we need to channel the spirit of the team we were before the playoffs, which means the following slumping players have to up their game:

Tyson
Melo
JR
Kidd
Heck, even K-mart has been quiet.

Come on Knicks, you've got to get the magic back!

Leader of the Pack

"I'm not overreacting and I'm telling my guys not to overreact. You got to win four games to get out of this series and we only played one. There should be no panic mode on anybody's faces around here. There's still a lot of basketball to be played."

This is game 7--nothing else needs to be said. If we cant beat the Pacers who dont have Danny Granger at home down 0-1 then we wont win this series.

+1. They're still good without Granger, but we are the better team and we are at home. Must win.

Funny that you brought up Cope as I just read this awesome piece on his journey: http://www.sbnation.com/longform/2013/4/11/4174374/chris-copeland-new-york-knicks-profile

Good Melo makes quick decisions: take his man off the dribble, shoot over him, pass, whatever

Bad Melo holds the ball.

I don't mind seeing him shoot tons of shots. I mind if the majority of them occur with the other 9 guys on the court standing around looking at him.

Knicks Just need to do what they do best and not worry so much about what the Pacers do. When the Knicks are getting ball and player movement they are one of the most potent teams in the league. It's how we beat them before and we can beat them again. Also we need that intense D we had in the early Celtic series games.

It takes ENERGY, NO SLEEPING AROUND OR CLUBBING NIGHT BEFORE THE GAME. Get your rest and give it all you got, put all other things on hold !
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.
