The Heat swept your precious Jennings and the Bucks?

The Spurs swept the Lakers?

Are you qualifying this for Semis?

Isn't natural to reason teams who advance to the Semis stand a strong chance to win at least 1gm if not more because they are good teams?

Last time the Heat played the Bulls in the NBA playoffs, the Bulls won game 1. The Heat then swept the next four. That was with Rose. I think this series goes 6, but let's not get carried away. Miami hasn't had a single challenge in a month; they will recover, certainly.

The reason why it's not the same as the Knicks, is simple: Miami didn't "play well" in the first round, but won every game by 20. And you know they're capable of more. The Knicks didn't "play well" in the first round, we lost two games, nearly blew a third, lost to Indy, and our top scorers are shooting 35% and 28% in the last four playoff games. That's embarrassing. Makes me wish for "accurate" shooters like John Starks and Latrell Sprewell. jk

Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

To be fair, anything short of divine intervention would not have prevented either of those series from being sweeps.

This win accomplished more than just getting a "W" in the win column. It gave Deng, Hinrich, and possible D. Rose a chance to come back.

Derrick Rose is not coming back this season, even if the Bulls made it to the finals. The guy doesn't want to play. It's not a physical issue at this point, from what's being reported. It's purely that he doesn't feel mentally ready. When it comes to the playoffs, that seems lame and shows a lack of heart.

I was constantly hearing ppl saying the heat were going to breeze through the east, all I could do was smh..This heat team is far from perfect, I know for sure we can beat them, and I wouldn't be surprise if all these series go 6 to7 games

I do question his heart. I really feel like he wanted to see if it was worth coming back - meaning did they have a chance at a title. But here's what he said today. Guess he's starting to feel a little pressure.

Despite everyone around the NBA believing he will not return this season, Derrick Rose said on Monday that he still could return at some point in the Chicago Bulls' second round series against the Miami Heat.

"Still up in the air. I might have a chance," Rose said.

Rose has been scrimmaging 5-on-5 since Feb. 18 and has been medically cleared to play for two months, but he still doesn't feel confident that his body is ready for game action.

"It's definitely hard but I know that this will be over with pretty soon. Who knows when it's going to stop but I can't just get down on myself," Rose said.

Asked about Rose's availability for the series, Tom Thibodeau said: "We'll see."

That was based on record. If you had asked the same question 30 games in, you would've gotten a different response. I think all the teams left in the east pose some problems for the Heat (yes, including the Knicks) and I agree, that it will be 6 or 7 games for all of them. But the Heat are still winning any of those series.

So Spoelstra got out coached, Lebron shot an airball at crunchtime. Wade was crying to the refs when he fouled a bulls player late in the 4th.

Ray Allen allowed Nate to blow by him for an uncontested layup at crunchtime.

The difference is their fans love all their players and coaches regardless of how they played the previous game.

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

No, that's not the difference, the difference is that LeBron is gonna open up a can of whoop ass and take the Chicago's asses in 5 games

I think the magical aura that still somehow surrounds Wade will completely dissipate. Bosch will go back to being RuPaul and James will have his built in excuse to jump onto another team on the bubble.

Just joking about the James part but, I stand by everything else

the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt

Youi would think one of this perennial shtty teams would wake up and pay a guy like Nate 5-6mm per for 4. He can play 6th man or starting PG and he has heart--more heart than 98% of the players in the league

Teams don't mind getting burnt by a front court player with a good playoff run, but They think twice about paying good money a small diminutive player who can be inconsistent all reg season long.
