awww man! thats too bad gunsnewing. i always enjoyed your posts
Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better

You'll be back. How can you exit when we're entering the second round?
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

Thats the problem. The more the Knicks win the more toxic this place becomes instead of the other way around. There was more peace when the Knicks were losing all those years

Here has just become such a huge divide centered around the Melo trade. If this board just stayed focused on the current team and talking about only present and future etc without bringing up the past then there would be much more constructive argument and less negativity.

I've done that before - for about 30 seconds!
It's impossible for me at least to lurk without posting.

Just ignore the haters. There are plenty of rational people here. The ignore feature works quite well. You don't see their post when logged in. No need to get stressed. As they say, arguing with idiots just drags you down to their level. Plus, that's what encourages them to keep doing so. So, why bother? Let's just enjoy the playoff run.

On the same note, I wish we could get TMS and some others to come back and enjoy the ride. But, at least I have TMS on Facebook.

I've found this place to be the best place to discuss he Knicks, even if opinions are extremely different from mine. I write my opinion whenever I feel like if things get too ridiculous, simply ignore. Its the internet, you can ignore and follow whoever you want.

Whatever the reactions, this is the best moment to discuss the Knicks.

But to each their own. Enjoy your break. Keep rooting for blue and orange!

Yea it sucks to step away now in the middle of a playoff run but there is no point in posting if im going to be reminded that i was critical of woodson and how I loved Linsanity every time i say anything remotely critical. And only because i want the knicks to cleanup certain things in order to beat Miami. Not a fan of having it rubbed in my face. I dont like but all I could do is step away but like I said in the original post I will return after a few winning seasons. I think peace will be restored somewhat if that happens. Thanks for all the well wishes

Willpower is easy. Only issue I have is forgetting to log in sometimes.

But, ultimately, yes. Just ignore it and try not to take it personally. I used to have some spats here, because I was being an idiot. I stopped doing that and it's more enjoyable to post here. In general, everyone here is mental, which is why it's a great environment.

As someone who's been in and out of message boards, the trick is to just post when you want and don't when you don't. Doesn't have to be all in or out.

The problem (my problem) is trying to win arguments, which I used to try to do. Now, if/when I post, it's to drop my thoughts and move on. Don't let it suck you in. What you, me or anyone else thinks about sports really isn't that big a deal.

Guns, I've enjoyed hearing your thoughts. I'll miss them. But do what ya gotta do.

Well I hope you don't go away. I had to take a break once and it's a good thing, but with a little time you feel better and it feels good to rejoin the forum. We've been together for a good long while. There are some guys who we know just like to stir things up, but overall it's a GREAT forum.

IMO being critical of Woodson shouldn't be that controversial. We all know how this team needs to play in order to win and it's not wrong to point out when Woody isn't doing a good job getting this team to focus on playing a winning brand of BB. WE ALL saw it with our own eyes in this series. It was a Microcosm of the Knicks season. Good Ball and Player movement and we win. Too much ISO and standing around and we lose. Why is that a crime to point out? We should all have the maturity to stick to the topic at hand and not resort to attacking guys on past stances or posts just cuz you can't win the argument at hand.

We are ALL HAPPY the team has advanced, but this team isn't about winning the 1st rd. We have much higher aspirations and have to adjust expectations accordingly. No one should be bashed for keeping up with expectations for this team and demanding they play up to them.

Good for you guns. I have been semi-retired all year and loving it. Of course, I also have not been watching many games either since I no longer have cable.

1) Don't leave Guns. It only comes with the territory that people get so crazy. I simply try to ignore those I can't stand!

2) Blueseats, how have you been?
