from a statistic stand point he probably doesn't deserve it just like TYSON last season, but the overall defensive intensity that he plays with and the infectious way it carries over to the team..you can see why he get the nod..

Why not noah who anchors the best def in the nba
Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better

The thing that really hurt Noah's chances that DPOY this year was that he only played 66 games this season. It's hard to win awards when you miss 20% of the season. It's the same reason Shaq only won one MVP in his career.

Noah should have been MVP, if you take Moah out of that team with no Rose, they would compete with the Bobcats for lottery picks.

This guy is pretty much unlikeable in every sense. I've never seen a bigger whiner while everything has been given to him.
