I don't recognize this turbo charged penguin!

When he decides to shift into overdrive, Felton can call on a quick burst to free himself.

He DOES take the game personally. He was absolutely crushed by the trade from NY. He probably lapsed into a form of depression in Portland and substituted food as his comfort, as many, many people do.

Now that the playoffs are here and he senses the intensity, he responds with passion. His facial expression is one of determination. Felton, in fact, finished the game with seven boards, second-most on the team.

A. Dean Smith taught him well.

missed last night's game but got the Rewind on DVR.... I haven't seen Determined Felton since first month of season and before that the Felton/Amare in 2010. Good to have him back.

Kerr was spot on in the broadcast last night - the Celtics were boxing Melo off so he couldn't attack so Woody made the adjustment of having Fleton attack on the opposite side in the 2nd

That is phenomenal coaching as opposed to sitting on your hands. Take what the defense if giving you. Especially when they have Pierce on Felton

Can't underestimate Kidd's influence on him. At the start of the season Felton kept saying that Kidd was trying to teach him about having a second gear- about picking his moments. This past month he seems to have got it- he makes timely hoops just when we need them, he's been doing it all through the win streak. Really happy to see him playing well- he really wanted to be a Knick again despite us screwing him over the first time.

Playing at multiple speeds keeps the defenders off-balance. A lot of young players only know how to play fast - so they always rely on the first quick step. It might be okay for closers in baseball, when they only have to do their thing in spurts. But if you only throw fastballs, folks can easily make adjustments. When you can juke opponents, it makes you appear faster and makes the defender have to work harder.

If this is what Kidd has helped bring, well...that's great. He'd have been a great mentor for Lin. :)

I admit i was very hard on raymond this year but so far he has come up big in the playoffs. i mean he has done a great job on Pierce even though Pierce is 6 inches taller. he has also attacked the basket which we need to do in order to go far. Hopefully he keeps it up throughout the playoffs

Boston sometimes would hit a tough shot and Felton would take it to the rim and finish one of his own. made it tough for Boston to get anything going. Last saturday Felton was having trouble getting to the rim, not this time. Great adjustment.

Saturday the weak side came over to help and Ray would bail, which is ok. Usually it was Garnett. With him in foul trouble early last nite, they did not have the lenght and quickness he brings to close down a penetrating Felton.

Boston knows its toast. Pierce is cooked. Time to hang his jersey from the rafters. Ray Allen knows what he was doing.

Felton was having problems with single coverage as well until Woodson had his teammates alternate moving the ball up court and Felton had more space to attack the rim. Last night he blew right by defenders left and right. It was great.

Its funny to me how players grow and shrink or become fat or fit when their team start winning games or lose games.

After the game JR was a legit 6'8 according to Tim Legler.

when the Knicks were losing Melo was a shade under 6'6. lol.

Raymon Felton Grows Thinner By The Minute

"He's killing us. He's getting into the paint. He's attacking us. Clearly, that doesn't look well on film and we have to do a better job on him. I wish I could make a better statement than that, except we have to keep him out of the paint."

co-sign. His play was atrocious on both ends of the floor for a good stretch there. I thought he just looked worn out and maybe he was tentative with his hand(s) injuries. Recently, he's looked rejuvenated. The guy was phenominal back in November and December. I think we are starting to see that guy come alive again.

Since March he has been great. In March he shot 50% & 40% from 3. In April I believe he was around 47% and 36-38% from 3. His assist has come down but I think his play making has still been high.

Yeah, but I thought Avery Bradley was such a feared defensive stopper lol Bradley and Terry are doing a good job of reminding people why Ray Ray was a lottery pick. It helps that the Celtics have no shot blockers. Felt looks like the fastest guy on the court right now. I'm hopeful that he will stay health and continue attacking the rim when we play the Heat in the conference finals.

Can Jeremy Lin guard Paul Pierce?

Entering Game 3, the Knicks had outscored the Celtics by an average of 22.8 points per 48 minutes with Felton on the floor but were outscored by 45.1 points per 48 minutes when he wasn't out there.

"Felton was the "most important" Knick in the first two games of the series."

- Doc Rivers before tip-off Friday

"(Felton) just ran our ballclub tonight" - Mike Woodson

Dynamic, innovative and understated—words that can be used to describe Volvo also apply to our newest Brand Ambassador, Jeremy Lin. Volvo is proud to announce that basketball superstar Jeremy Lin will be featured in 2013 marketing initiatives in China and the US.

Q. Anji - Yeah, but does (Felton) have a deal with Volvo?

A. Did Volvo say (cough) superstar?

Where did that extra gear come from?

"Ray's grown as a player from training camp to today when you look at him running the show with Pablo [Prigioni], understanding what the team needs at the right time. That's what a point guard does
." - Jason Kidd

Felton has adapted his game to the situation. Somehow, he decided to follow the Earl Smith Jr example and go stronger to the rack. Unusual bursts of Speed.

"No question, it has been one of my best years running the team. Experience, years, confidence from your coach, having a great support cast, having a great mentor like Jason Kidd. It's a lot of things. When I come off a screen- and-roll and I have a guy one-on-one, they can't hop off those guys, so it's just me and him between the basket. It gives me a chance to get by my man and get to the rack."

Raymond Felton nearly defeated the Celtics by leading the incredible rally. Carmelo would be wise to trust his running buddies more. Iman Dhumpert is growing in playoff basketball confidence, right before our eyes.

36 shots is too many when your shot is off.

Missing two free throws down the stretch in regulation is a sign of lack of focus.

Beat Boston.
