Anyone know the starting lineups for the Knick's and Celtics?
I think I read Copeland is starting but not sure if it was official cuz it was by sport's writers and not Woodson

Felton
Iman
Melo
Copeland

Chandler

Bradley
Terry
Pierce
Bass
KG

or is Green in there?

I highly doubt Woody plays Melo at PF all season long and starts him at SF for Game 1 of the playoffs.

I understand the logic in Copeland @ 4 but if he starts, he is probably the 3.

Oh, and I read somewhere Pierce was starting at SG.

We'll see who ends up where.

They started using a big lineup with Green at the 2/3. Match ups are going to be interesting.

I would start the game in zone just for kicks. With so few shooters and no one to penetrate why not. It won't happen though. Cope guards Green to start. Hopefully he doesn't get hot.

Want to see us turn up the defense- we've played great lately, but I still think we can be even better! Don't sleep on Courtney Lee- he was very effective in the playoffs in his rookie year, so he could be one of those players that turn it up in the post season. ason Terry could suddenly come alive now the regular season is over.

Who knows how Jeff Green will play- can go from monster to mouse.

Also beware the ref's! (and please, please, please don't have Ed Malloy officiating the game...).

Lets do this!

You know what, I actually think things might be different this time. I think this could be a game where the Knicks are treated with more respect. Or maybe it's just wishful thinking cuz i'm so pumped for the playoffs.

Funny, my friends are actually convinced the league wants a Knicks-Heat ECF and we'll be getting preferential treatment because of that. Im still laughing at that notion.

I hope they can just ignore the refs as much as possible. Take their medicine even though they don't deserve the calls. Beats a tech or losing focus.

Like the lineup. Copeland will provide another distraction on the offensive end and might give melo more freedom

Hopefully your friend is right. The refs made sure the Lakers got into the playoffs.

I dont even know why. A Kobe-less Laker team isnt the same.

I think they can. Melo especially has been really good with that lately. Tyson and JR though worry me a little.
The techs are a different issue though. That is predominantly up to the refs interpretation and thats what I hate. Our guys can get techs simply for turning their heads sharply after a bad call.

Depends on what follows the turn. JR did that but he also stopped and angrily stared at the ref. Show them up, they're going to give you a tech. I agree, sometimes players do look back, but not in an angry way, and get teched. Trying to show up players.

Thats true. I forgot about that play. With that said though Im really confident about that aspect going into the series or the playoffs in general. Its gonna be battle today though.
