if they had rondo id be more scared. The Knicks have trouble guarding good point guards. If tyson and kenyon are healed then we shoudl win in 5 or 6 games

Much more uplifting than "which game are the knicks likely to lose 1st?"

Why not, "which games are our men likely to win?"

We are not talking about potential lottery picks
instead of being dark, Madison Square Garden will be rocking
Carmelo Anthony has something to prove
Scalpers and hotel concierge people are smiling from ear to ear

Our veterans have been there before
"I'm just here to prove to people that I ain't never lost it" - Kenyon Martin
Mike Woodson has us playing the best basketball of the season
29 and 35 year old rookies ain't scared of no ghosts

We respect Boston's trauma, once the ball goes up, all bets are off

49ers Head Coach Mike Singletary: "I want winners"

Pablo Prigioni - Lucentum Alicante, 2002-03 championship; Baskonia Vitoria, 2008-09 championship; Real Madrid CF, 2010-11 championship... check

Ray Felton - NCAA champions, UNC Tarheels ... check

I Man Shumpert - led Oak Park and River Forest High School to three conference titles, led GaTech in scoring, rebounding, and assists, only 6 others have achieved that in ACC history

Carmelo Anthony - NCAA champions, Syracuse... Gold Medal Olympic Champion... check

Tyson Chandler - NBA Championship, Dallas Mavs.. check

Earl Smith - "Right now with the talent we have, what it says on paper is championship all day. But it's a matter of us going out there and doing it,"

Jason Kidd - NBA Championship, Dallas Mavs...Gold Medal Olympic Champion... check

Steve Novak - played in the Final Four as a freshman at Marquette

Kenyon Martin - was often watched by his sister while their single mother worked, stuttered as a child, attended three high schools in four years, that is a definition of a comeback by a winner (Martin was the heart and soul of the Nets, who won back-to-back Eastern Conference championships)

Chris Copeland - undrafted, unwanted for 7 years and cut by a low level team in Barcelona, did somebody say tenacity? Is there a better "feel good" story in the NBA?

Amare Stoudemire - Florida’s Mr. Basketball:2002, always thought being "Mr Basketball" was a cool title

not this time. I think we sweep them. Much more afraid of a team with good guards because we NEVER and CANT stop them. To me its more likely a team like the Bucks beat us with Ellis and Jennings combining for 60 a night then the Celtics even taking us to 6-7 games. We should kill them. Pacers will be a real battle.

Nice to see so many posters starting to feel more optimistic- I feel like we're at that bit in Goodfellas where everything's going great, we've got it made and it feels like nothing could go wrong!

Pacers have size and a good young coaching mind but we usually handle them going back to last yr. This yr they beat an undermanned knicks team. I only fear miami and chicago for obvious reasons. Fortunately we only play one of the 2

Let's hope we don't get invited to the finals only to get shot in the back of the head too soon.

Not mid season when we were 20-20 in 40 games. I throughly enjoyed the great start and finish though. Great finish is the key so it thomps anything. But thanks for the welcoming anyway

Im more scared of the refs. I have a feeling theyre gonna let the Celtics get away with physicality while the Knicks cant do the same.
Knicksfan: Hypocrite league that fines players after the game for flopping but in the game and with obvious flopping they call the fouls.

Do We Need This Person?

"I think he's going to be out [of the first round]. That's my gut, but he was out even today moving around and shooting a little bit. It's kind of nice to see him on the floor."
