"Oh, look Melo's got a stupid patch on his warmup!"
"How dare ye mention Melo in the same breath as Ewing!"
"Division Title? You're just as meaningless as Ewing was Melo!"
The Somber-tics have spoken! Please, bring them a goblet of something meaningful!
Screw them! CONGRATS TO MELO FOR THE SCORING TITLE AND THE ATLANTIC DIVISION TITLE!!!!!
Exactly, people act like it wasn't 13 years + that we had won the Division Title... like the last scoring champ the knicks had wasn't 28 years ago... complete BS to just dismiss this years accomplishments for this team and Melo
this team hasn't won a title in 40 years why so much emphasis on scoring title?.. if some people are not impressed then so be it...
We enshrined Bernard King for his scoring but we really don't talk about what the knicks did while a knick.
Moobyites love a scoring title. Makes them feel good. To each his own.
ITs not the same thing it used to be. THere were many instinces when the star player won the title and fans followed that. Teams can sell tickets to see a guy average 30 pts a game.
I can't tell you how The Cards, Cub's or Giants did when Roids were the rage and Sosa, McGuire and Bonds had incredible years and broke home run records.
