Why do so many get bent out of shape when the knicks get criticize when its what they do on the court that matters? Basically what we got here are fans who believe every year and have gone disappointed at seasons end, but this year "I KNEW IT!!!!" Really? Seems like every year this type of fan "KNEW IT!".

Barkley been right for how many years? Now he is eating crow? Seems like the "I believe" crowd has years of crow eaten .

Knicks are my team but keeping it real and being a fan can be done. Thus, I don't get upset when anyone gets on the knicks with an opinion. Its just their take. Fans tune in to hear this crap, and love it when they are wrong. It boosts ratings and empowers the little man to think he is important.

So some of you are all feeling real good the knicks are doing well and "were right!" Its a good feeling to be correct and Charles Barkley was not!!!!!!! That makes you smarter than him!

Knicks play has been great when the outside shot is going. The spacing and all the goodness that comes from that is based on them keeping it up.

Argue it all day, or watch the games.

it starts with spacing and ball movement. it's the ball movement that is creating the outside shooting. they manage to stay disciplined with the spacing and ball movement and the shooting will be higher percentage than any sort of iso ball hero ball nonsense.

barkley has been right in almost everything he states-- i really don't understand why he is spoken of with such derision. he doesn't like the knicks suckage not because it's the knicks but because he detests smoke and mirrors. knicks are changing a lot of people's minds right now.

homers should be happy about that instead of piling on after the whistle has blown. frankly it makes them sound desperate.

He is also friends with Patrick Ewing, and feels the organization "wronged" him somehow.

That is why Barkley says the stupid garbage he says, pure bias and hate. Nothing else.

Barkley stated (on TNT) some years ago "I wish nothing but bad on the Knicks and that franchise".

Barkley stated (in 09-10) that the Nets would make the playoffs and they were a better team than the New York Knicks. The Nets went on to win 12 games that year.

Barkley stated in 10-11 that the Knicks would miss the playoffs and that the Nets would MAKE the playoffs. Knicks MAKE the playoffs, Nets MISS the playoffs.

Barkley stated in 11-12 (on Letterman) "I watched the Knicks play and in the history of all basketball, they may be the worst defensive team ever. They play zero defense and they're not going to do well in the long run." That same season the Knicks were in the top 5 in defense. He also said the Knicks are "Not even close to competing any time soon". Knicks won Atlantic division very next season.

This season..... Well you saw what he said up top.

The years that the Knicks were winning 20 and 30 games Barkley spoke about them very little. They were hardly ever on national TV (TNT) at all. The most insults he flung their way was during drafts. Not many people had a whole lot to say about his comments back then. But since the Knicks have started to turn things around he has been notoriously WRONG. And what is wrong with a Knick fan pointing out when Barkley is wrong about the team? So many of you are offended that Barkley is being called out about his wrong prediction. Get over it. He was wrong every year for the past 3 or 4 years about something or other pertaining to the Knicks.

Oh, and I was offended when he turned to Kenny that night and said "I don't typically like New Yorkers".

Look all that stuff up.

Yup, I'm happy to see him be wrong.

Maybe Mound's days are numbered. American TV consumers are just dumb enough to think Shaq is a quality broadcaster. They've obviously supported Barkley all this time.
