They don't care. They're sitting back waiting to get home court throught the playoffs.

That said - losing this one would suck. Losing to Miami sucks in general but this one would REALLY suck if we drop it.

It's called mental posturing, Spoelstra and the Heat are afraid of the knicks so they are saving them from having more doubt PLAYING AGAINST US..
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

Here's another reason why we need this one: we're fighting Indy for the 2nd seed. Second seed gets home court in the second round.

God, even when the Heat stars aren't playing, they get on your nerves...

OH well! Can't rest on your laurels, the Bostrich led Heat scrubs beat the Spurs at almost full strength, so gotta put it on them from the jump.

Get that 2nd seed. BEAT THE HEAT!

Sucks- robs us of a satisfying win!

This game is no longer serious, just another game with the stars sitting out. Lame.

People who paid for tickets should get a 66% refund when teams do this. Shame I can't watch this game or the Atlanta one until Thursday. It'll be interesting to see how Shump performs- if I tore an ACL or broke my leg playing basketball I'd be mentally scarred for life- always impresses me how people can come back from that kind of trauma.

Anyways I further the sentiments already expressed on this board- BEAT THE HEAT!

Knicks won in Miami without Melo or Amare and Heat certainly took that game seriously, same as the Knicks will and same as Spurs should have.

I am very surprised they are sitting out, but then again, its the Heat. This is a win win, if they lose they are saving their strength for the playoffs (might as well, since the winning streak is over. They got mad for the refs not giving them another game to continue the streak so now they are being vengeful, resting them stars.

This is actually very smart for the heat. It rests their stars which is what I would also be doing in their situation. The other benefit is it gives the Knicks a higher chance of beating them. The more wins we get the better our chances are of getting the second seed. This means we avoid the heat and the heat avoids us until the eastern conference finals.

Predictions:
If we win, it's a meaningless regular season game the conf champ Heat didn't care about.
If we lose, our streak was a faked pile of crap built on the dried remains of wasted teams and this team shouldn't be in any serious 'scussion.
Or both.

Agree..
But i am Knicks sure ya wanna win & 9 in row..lieu of tough nba knix schedule ahead.

But Ny should rest Melo let him play even more skimpy minutes tonite
let JR Smith play 1/2 a game or 1 QTR in 2nd half & definitely rest PG
Ray Felton & his HUGE mouth whom says PG Mario Chalmers is decent good guard
but as a PG Mario's the weak link in Heat roster attack.

Why Raymond? say anything at all? 8 wins in row?
Felton mouth forgets Raymond is on same par as Chalmers & few may think Mario
is a little better.

Knicks could try & win without tipping their cards and main players whom
got game in this 8 gm streak.

I hate Chalmers, so I don't care what anyone says about him. All that matters is that the Knicks put that good D on them and get a win. I know the Heat are #1, but I still have a belief that the Knicks can beat them in a series. When this team was healthy and clicking we put the BEAT DOWN on the Heat and when we lost we were in a slump. Now the Knicks are playing better again, so I would love to see a ECF against the Heat.

1) It's buyer beware here. Before you pay for expensive tickets like these, you should be well aware of possible circumstances like this. Therefore: while I don't in anyway support what Spoelstra is doing, the fans shouldn't get there money back. Being smart with your money counts for something and there are never guarantees in these games.

2)This is still an important game because now we have a decent line of good teams coming up so we have to take care of this one to cushion any fall we may or may not have.
