It was, plus the way the commentators completely go along with it like there's nothing wrong with any of the calls. That's why I think the Lakers are more likely to make it to the playoffs than Dallas or the Jazz- I just think if there are any close games, the ref's will try and get the Lakers the win.

It was also Stern's way of saying to Sacramento.....

For example I don't believe Dounaghy as credible but do believe the league has pushed some teams over others. How they do it I don't know. I don't think they get caught either.

Its not 100%, if a team is just that good they will prevail. Ewings knicks were at times better than Bulls but were not good enough to deliver a knock out punch. Jordan want to the line and Charles Smith got Mugged.

I can get that we put something into the pentegan for effect, but can't wrap that we'd make disappear the plane and its passangers.

Nalod believes we blew up our own ship in the Gulf of Tonkin and in Havana to escalate a war we wanted. Pearl Harbor was a suprise not for vengence but Japan was suffering from an embargo that was hurting their expansion into china. We sold it to the People to raise anger and sell a war there and in europe were England was going to lose and our "lend lease" program to help them would go unpaid. We entered teh war to get repaid, and reshape the ecnomomics of a post war world in our favor. We had only hoped Hitler would have done more damage to soviet russia before we got in.

Follow the money.

Refs can encourange an outcome but not always change it.
