Funny reverse Freudian slip in "win up" ;-)

Seeding matters as the worse the better for our pick, right?
Really, I don't think we are going anywhere so why not get the better pick?
I do have hope for the playoffs as we are a halfcourt team and things slow down, but reliance on our 3 pt shot is a bit worrying to say the least.

Yea when we were playing well seeding mattered now i could careless because whoever they face they are getting swept. Might as well get a higher pick.

The funny thing would be if the knicks miss the playoffs never year and Denver gets our 2014 lottery pick

Eddy revisited. Its a bad when you make trades with picks and we get WORSE!

For all hoopla about melo vs. Gallo, or wilson, or how we got Felton back, or how insignificant Mozzy is on denver, the swap of 2014 and outright of 2016 could be epic miscalculations.

If I could exorcize the knicks out of my system I would.

Finally, we've gotten past the players, now that we might be halfway to completion of getting half of them back!
Now it's on to focusing on the draft picks!

After 2016, we can move on to the 3 mil we gave away! I bet that's where the NugNyets got the cash for those snazzy yellow unis! Imagine what that 3 mil will have grown into by 2017!

I'll be totally honest with you,

free falling right out of the playoffs would be the BEST thing for this team,

it might the shock Dolan needs to wake him out of his stupor, so that we can eventually build a real contender and start enjoying some New York basketball agai

that's not going to happen. and even if it did, the garden will still sell out next yr AND he would raise ticket prices.

I still can't believe we're top of our division and within sniffing distance of the no. 2 seed depite this roadtrip disaster! Reading these boards you'd of thought we were the worst team in the league and had been sucking since December. Rest of the east can't be that bad?

Thats not the issue. the main issue is that we have played very mediocre for 3 months now. I think we are 20-21 since our great start. I can understand a couple of bad weeks but its been going on long before the injuries started. We are all diehard knick fans. We are upset because we want them to win

If we were a young team that would be a great step in the right direction. But we are an older veteran team so anything less than the ECF is a bust IMO

Yeah, I was being sarcastic.
If this old team peaks with an ECF appearance, that won't be a complete failure but it won't be enough to validate the Melo-Amare era.

I totally agree. I grew up watching the 90's knicks and even though they never won they still were always competitive in the playoffs and went to 2 finals. This era has had 1 playoff win in 13 years. You cant blame fans for being upset/impatient

YOu right.

And those that started cutting up confetti before the all star break was equally as dilusional.

The knick bi-polarCoaster is a trip!

The trade proposals are kind of silly.

Man, I mean the writing was on the wall with the Stat signing. Imagine he can't play (or rather can only play enough to where we can't get an injury exception). Again, who is our number 2 (and Stat isn't even starting).

It is VERY hard to imagine missing the playoffs if Melo is healthy. That is the good part. But if we keep riding him and the Geriatric bunch are playing minutes, it's a recipe for disaster and anything could happen in 2014 and 2016. Note my sig...

Born in Brooklyn and this is my team, but that doesn't mean if we don't get far (or don't get in next year) that I won't root for GS, Houston or Denver. Dolan has created this monster!

Dolan concern has to be if Nets make a sigficant run and pics up the causual fan. Die hard kic fans won't generally bolt but there are so many up for grabs. Not talking about jersey anymore.

As long as knicks stay infront of Nyets, and those Nyets don't make a run to ECF's its all good in MSG.

Well, the Nets won't do anything in the playoffs imo. We can, IF we are healthy AND those 3pters fall at a high clip AND we suddenly can find Chandler for all those ally oops, etc.
So, if neither of us are going anywhere in the playoffs, but the Nets finish above us, that is a victory of sorts. I don't care much about that, except that it makes Dolan look bad.
