Really man. Maybe we could force them to include Bledsoe.

Griffin and Jordan are only 24.

Jordan
Griffin
Butler
Shumpert
Bledsoe

Nice young core.

Having a young team doesn't equal wins or rings..Chandler, Melo, and Chris Paul...Awesome trade if u are the clippers...How does it help the Knicks tho...How does this resolve our Amare problem ??

What do you mean? it helps the knicks by getting rid of melo, what more do you want?

Dude, this is what you have to add?

It's a serious comment, though I should have elaborated,

Melo won't work on the Knicks because we don't have the wiggle room to add a powerful running mate for him, so I think it's just a wash in New York,

but if you put him with a Chris Paul in LA, then Melo has value again,

unless we can get Paul to New York, I think the best thing to do is ship Melo out of here

Melo's knees seem worse than Blake's.

Maybe LA would have been willing to do a Melo-Griffin swap when Melo was winning player of the month awards but now they'd just laugh at the idea.

Having the current team doesn't equal rings either.

You don't see how this could help the Knicks? Getting younger at the core and solving prob at the PG spot?

And why does the trade have to address the Amare problem? One thing doesn't have anything to do with the other.

Getting younger does what exactly???..Griffin is a good player but not the kind to build around...He doesn't have that kind of game..Bledsoe might be an upgrade but our PG problem will be far from resolved...This new team and contracts maxes us out..so we can't add others with Amare contract still on the books...In fact I think the new team is a 7th or 8th seed competing with MIL and TOR...So again??how does it help..Blake and Jordan is no where close to Melo and Chandler...Not even close...

Melo > Griffin

This isn't even a question. Griffin has alot of improving to do.

Clippers are trying to win a championship. Paul, Melo, and Chandler are a better balance.

No way. No way.

Melo is probably better than blake at horse. Melo would sink the clippers depth and chemistry. He will complain when paul goes on a scoring spree and doesnt feed him the ball so he can get his 28. Just like he did to Lin. He will make sure Paul is traded so he can win his scoring title

The purpose of the trade is to keep us relevant. Knicks are going nowhere with Amare eating up 20 million in cap space.

Melo can opt out after next summer along with Lebron, Wade, and Bosh.

I don't think so,

Lin came from the heavens and, to Melo's mind, did not have the history to back up the lofty clouds,

Paul is the type of leader that would put Melo in his place without Melo realizing that he is being lead, and this is what the young fella needs,

Paul has Melo's respect because Paul is the man, so I think you could have a situation in LA where Melo thinks he's the man while Paul pulls the puppet strings and both are very happy with this,

So you have resorted to making up stuff. Lol.

Melo played with Billups just fine.

Sharks always come out when they smell blood. It easy to comment on players playing injured that can barely jump. The season is still long but it is what it is.

Maybe Cliff Paul would command Melos respect not sure about Chris Paul

Yes your Blobness. Someone posted on different thread that the only way Melo wins a chip is by being a second option. I think this might be good set up for Melo if his ego can handle the truth.

TKF on Melo ::....he is a punk, a jerk, a self absorbed out of shape, self aggrandizing, unprofessional, volume chucking coach killing playoff loser!!

Didn't you call Melo a top 3 player in the world when he played on the Olympic team?

Look I dont hate melo. I think he is a great scorer. But people act like he an elite player who has had playoff success. For the most part he has been a first round exit every year. I dont wnat to trade him but if the right deal came along that gave us a very good young player and draft picks then i would do it in a heartbeat

Crazy first round exit comments without examining who they played and what the circumstances were..How on earth were Melo to beat Bron and Wade with our entire team decimated last year..and Boston the year before???...How??...Dude is a top five player...
