Age does matter. Otherwise more people would start having kids at 40 and not have to worry about being tired all the time. 39, 40 and 35 year old is ancient in NBA world.

I was very happy to welcome Camby back as I thought he'd ease the load on Chandler and hit the boards hard, protect the rim.

I am an idiot I guess.

He played at a very high level last year. No one knew his health would deteriorate this much in one year.

I thought he would be a quality back up and be playing about 20-25 mins a game
I would also tell him to be ready to play 4 different styles
Camby is a productive player when given 25-30+ minutes a night, while Woodson is playing closer to 10min, 5mins, or 0min

1) back up to Tyson Chandler at C

2) PF with Tyson Chandler together using a 3-2 zone, with Camby/Chandler initiating fast breaks with their rebounds, Kidd standing in half court for pass, and JR Smith/Melo/Felton/Iman taking turns running down

3) occasionally use him like how Jeffries was used on MULTIPLE POSITIONS, as a LOCK DOWN DEFENDER with length/size in game time situations...

4) DEFEND PF's/C with LITTLE TO NO HELP expected, so don't always jump, always put a body on him to wear out player, and does not need to LOOK TO HELP unless needed, just focus on his man

However, partly his injuries and Woodson just doesn't utilize/trust him, making him a vet min production type player like a Ryan Hollins

Well the odds are not good signing a 39 year old to a 3 year contract.

If he had played the same this year as last year, he would have already earned most of that 12 mil contract. I don't mind taking a gamble with small contracts. It's the Melo-Amare sized ones that kill us.

We threw away assets in the Camby deal for no reason whatsoever.

At a time we could have had him for a 2nd round pick but Walsh was sleeping on the job as Denver traded him to the Clippers for just that, we had no true center and he was relatively healthy and coming off a somewhat recent DPOY honor.... no we wait 5yrs later to make a multi player transaction trying dive over the top on 3rd down and 4

These guys all played well again. These guys represent how we can play better down the stretch--they improve our interior D.

I also liked playing two PG's. Hopefully in the future we can acquire a couple of really good talents to help the team much more than Prigioni and no back up can. Using Felton at the two guard worked pretty well.

Yea Woodson stuck with Kidd far too long. It was evident to every one Prigioni is the teams best floor general. Hooefully resting Kidd gets his 3pt shot back as his legs return

With Kmart in the fold the Kmicks weakness is clearly at the guard position. PG & SG

yeah ive been encouraged by the play of the old vets on this road trip. our frontcourt depth is sound, its the backcourt im worried about. thats why im in favor of waving white to add west
Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better
