I already stated his worst move was hiring Mike D'Antoni. But guess what? Grunwald's worst move surpasses it all. He hired Mike Woodson, a worse version of Mike D'Antoni. And sooner or later you will not be able to hang your hat on his 18-6 anymore. Sooner or later you'll have to admit failure in your masturbation over some mediocre retread in Woodson and his equally mediocre accomplice in Grunwald. The same Grunwald who traded for broken down Oakley and Olajuwon in Toronto and traded his top 5 lotto pick for Antonio Davis. The same one who is overpaying the likes of Raymond Felton and Steve Novak here now.

It's pathetic how you try and pin the problems on Walsh and paint him as a bad GM when the entire time he was here he was undermined by Dolan. It's already been pointed out how D'Antoni didn't even want Stoudemire and wanted to re-sign David Lee. Walsh usually listened to his coach. But who oh who has final say on personnel matters? Yeah, you guessed it, James L. Dolan. So while Walsh tried his best he was always undermined by Dolan and eventually quit. Now we have 2 yes men back in the key organizational spots, just like prior years with Isiah, Layden, Herb, Chaney, Wilkens, etc.

I don't discuss this stuff with people like you because it's not worth my time. You're a borderline troll.

I could be wrong but it sounds like you are implying d'antoni wanted Lee over Stoudemire for basketball or health reasons. The article I read said it was because of their conflicts in Phoenix.
Their coach, Mike D'Antoni, didn't want a reunion with Stoudemire after clashing with him in Phoenix, but he walked into a breakfast meeting with his former player understanding how badly his bosses needed this to work out.

D'Antoni walked out of that breakfast meeting declaring that Stoudemire was a changed man, all grown up and worthy of being a Knick. Jim Dolan, owner, consummated the deal on a handshake at the Four Seasons. "The Knicks are back," Stoudemire now-famously said in his first media briefing, and more than 2&189; seasons later, guess what?

I never read or heard anything at the time of the summer of 2010 about D'Antoni wanting Lee over Stoudemire. Can you post a link? Also, I agree that Carmelo was Walsh's best move but his signature move was Amare and there are many that believe the Melo trade was made by Dolan and ended the working relationship between Walsh and Dolan. Also, please give examples of Walsh being undermined by Dolan other than the Melo trade. In regards to the current Pacers Walsh is responsible for drafting Plumlee. He was hired three days before the draft.

I'm not supplying you with anything. You act like you know a lot for someone who knows very little and makes posts as if everything you say is a fact and not an opinion. You want real facts? Google is your friend. Read and learn and don't throw out BS spin. You literally have the same reply to everything, every time. It never fails. There is no use in saying anything to you. You spew out garbage like a programmed cyborg just because you have a belief in one guy and refuse to admit you're wrong. There is no convincing you of your faults, no matter what I say or what links I provide.

Carmelo was not Walsh's best move. Carmelo is a flawed player in every sense and it's clear we got jipped in that trade. Players like Carmelo are all-stars but not superstars. It was a failure of a trade to put asses in the seats, not wins on the board. But again, the spin machine keeps on going. Walsh's best move was breaking up the monstrosity Isiah put together.

Walsh was always undermined, my friend. From Amare to Carmelo to everything in between, like the constant chatter that Isiah would return to the team as Walsh's GM. Or the fact that Walsh wasn't allowed to hire any GM at all unless it was Thomas.

In case you're incapacitated and can't use Google I will provide 2 links and 2 links only. The rest you'll have to work and find yourself since you clearly know everything about everything.

When you said underminded in the moves he made I thought you were referring to personnel moves. The Isiah thing wasn't right but when I criticize Walsh it is for his basketball moves that he made in NY. I don't ever remember other than the Melo trade hearing that Walsh was underminded by Dolan on a move. I think the espn article points out D'Antoni's reasons for not wanting to reunite with Stoudemire. It fit with how D'Antoni handled players in NY that he had conflict with, he didn't want to deal with them. Also, I am a bit surprised you are linking to two articles written by a guy that you tried to get fired for his interactions with you on twitter.

Are you referring to the article that said D'Antoni had had conflicts with Stoudemire and didn't want him back or to my reference to your twitter fight with Isola?

I'm referring to everything. Every single thing. You've been wrong on so many things that it's hard to keep track of.

I don't care for Isola's attitude but I've never doubted his sources. He is as reliable as they come.

As for some random D'Antoni article you stick with, I prefer to go with Isola, who for better or worse, has called the underhanded tactics of the Knicks to a T.

You're one of the worst posters on this website with your robotic fake-fact spewing schtick. Stop lying to us and to yourself. I'm done responding to you.

He is not the best writer and relies on 'sources' a lot. He does communicate with fans though. I emailed him a few times four or five years ago and he emailed me back. Not sure that a lot of guys would do that.
