There's been much more hostility between the so-called homers and sombers ever since NYKM joined.
I find myself lurking now and not contributing as much. Specially when I post anything Lin related in the "Other" thread you get personal attacks. Really don't enjoy it. So I pick my spots now.
this is why I avoid the game threads 90% of the time.. not worth the anguish, I stay in the "other teams threads" and still get attacked there.. I have no problem with people who disagree with me.. but when it gets personal, they start following you around from post to post, then it becomes too much... A good debate is fun and healthy.. some can't understand or refuse to understand that.. out of a difference of opinions comes insight, you can learn from one another.. but it seems most are interested in force feeding certain players on you, changing your mind, and finding out what poster you were before... it is really ridiculous, childish and doesn't leave any room for a healthy debate...
I am back and on a mission to fix this.

I don't mind the problem on the forum being fixed now but one thing I just don't understand. This has been our first winning season and Melo plays an important part but there are people on this forum are ready to rip him apart no matter what he does. If that's what you want do it. So far this season I've been to six games and the excitement is fantastic for the first time in over 10 years. In my opinion anyone can say what they want to say about this team weather its positive or negitive. But for the first time in years I have a feel good feeling. What I have a problem with is when I say something that I really feel great about and then someone comes behind me with a sarcastic comment that is negative. If you disagree with me then give your opinion. But if you come at me in a sarcastic way I'm gonna respond.Any Knicks lover would do the same. And if ever I am kicked out because I am a Knicks lover and I want to defend the team I love so be it. If I have a problem with Melo ISO then I will speak on it but the final call is Woody. And I'm questioning him on things. I feel good I feel great about this team. I'm sorry Stat went down. As far as that all teams (game thread) blog thats been on this site for a while I feel that It don't belong here. This site should be Knicks only. If you would put that some place else probably some of the problems will subside. My concern is this that this forum has become like the congress of America the Democrats vs the Republicans. Everyone claims they love the country but have different ways to fix it. My fear is if Martin leans too far to the left it's a problem and if he leans too far to the right it will be a problem. I will admit it's getting out of hand.And I trust that Martin will be fare In my humble opinion. I remember I was a New York Times blogger and when the Times shut it's forum down. It was Martin or someone who told me about this forum and I was here ever since. Yet I've never seen it so divided. Oh we've had some tough debates but it was more on other topics other than the Knicks and that was ended for the good.
