^^^ what do you mean, he didn't just think he was faking and being a cowered.

Not to stick up for him but that statement is too vague for me. Did he ask out 4 or 5 possessions earlier or going back on D so he was unable to call a T.O. I guess he still could told someone to intentionally foul to stop the possession so it is still on Woody. Unless he just told an assistant coach while going up the floor. IDK but it sounds bad.

If Melo asked to come out and Woodson didn't do it right away I'm officially not a fan of his anymore. It's bad enough playing him those minutes knowing something is wrong, but to not take him out like that is terrible.

Explains why he looked awful and why hes been struggling big time with his shot. I hope he gets through this season like Wade did and then have surgery in the offseason if need be. Hopefully minor surgery like wade. This is why you can play guys 40mins a nite for a scoring title. When you have amare kmart and camby and novak

I hate shortsighted coaches. Don chaney, dantoni now Woodson

gunsnewing - what exactly made Don Chaney shortsighted enough for you to hate him?

Please do not refer to McDyess.

that could have been a hell of a good team. .500 after Spree came back that year and the frontcourt was Kurt, Spoom, Harrington and Doleac. You figure a healthy 20/10 McDyess and thats a 50 win team easy and considering how teams like the Nets and Boston with Shimmy and Walker were playing in the ECF.

back to topic... I do hope Melo gets back and healthy so I can root for him to lose and screw up. ITs not the same if he's not healthy.

Back off topic; you lose all credibility using "good" and "Doleac" in the same thought.

Allan Houston was coming off Microfracture surgery and Don Chaney played him 50 minutes the first game of the season vs Orlando in overtime, does anybody remember that?

As much as I like Thibodeau and the way he's got the bulls playing defence, he is very much in the same mold as Chaney when it comes to overplaying players and expecting them to play through injuries until they break- you can see the results of that now (Rose, Noah with plantar fasciitis, and Deng running on fumes- heck, didnt Noah break a foot or something in the playoffs one year, couldn't even walk, but he kept him in the game- madness!

What do you mean by right away? Like call a timeout or send someone to check in? It didnt look like Woodson was doing either. In the replay of the injury, theres no Knick at the scorers table nor does it look like one is headed there.
Knicksfan: Hypocrite league that fines players after the game for flopping but in the game and with obvious flopping they call the fouls.

From what's been reported Melo asked to come out a few possessions before he tripped. If so, he should have called a timeout the first second possible and taken him out. and ig this has been going on for a few weeks why was he playing so many minutes?

And why would he play Amar'e less than the 30min allowed in games?

Anyone know about fluid build up in the knee? They're saying that's what they saw in the MRI results. How serious could that be? It seems that if it was serious they wouldn't have played Melo the last couple of weeks.

With out medical staff we know because of improper diagnosis the next time Melo steps foot on the court...we're going to be revisiting Baker's Cyst or Sou Chef's Lump...

He's also said he feels tightness at the back of his knee, which would also suggest a bakers cyst forming, maybe. Could be the start of arthritis.

If we're lucky we'll have our two most highly paid players both have arthritic knees going forward- because Allan Houston wasn't enough!
