I'm a big Amar'e fan too- I'm really surprised and impressed at how quickly he's developed a post game. To go from having none, to looking pretty nifty and efficient around the basket in hardly any time is really impressive- I've always liked post play so its good to see it again on this team.

I'm hoping if Melo takes a game or two off, when he returns the offence will be rebalanced and Amar'e won't have to take as much of a back seat to Melo as he has been made to so far.

I was happy to see amare playing inspired, heck I was even able to stomach JR smith, as I do think he is a bonehead, but he will play hard... it just seemed like all of the knicks were actually expecting to contribute and were not after thoughts.... they looked like a team.. the ball was moving, heck even amare was defending.. the guys just looked comfortable and unpredictable.... I actually enjoyed it.... watching both knicks and denver win that way made for a good night...

I agree! nykmental nails it again. In fact if we only had MElo's on the team there would never be any excuses. But which Melo would win MVP? Would having multiple MElo's on the team hurt their MVP chances or help? What you do think? Please write at least 3 pages on the subject and post in a new thread. Thanks dude!

big amar'e fan here too, team was rolling when amar'e was our big dog on the hardwoods,

and now he is helping me in fantasy, i traded jonas for him before jonas was injured, so i really made out, now jonas is on waiver in my league, WIN

I really like STAT too but are you serious with this comment??? The only reason Amare is here is because the Knicks were willing to give him a max deal on his uninsured extremely susceptible to injury knees/eye socket/back. Like most athletes with a limited timeframe to accrue monetary compensation his coming here was ALL about the Benjamins, and to place him in a separate class from Tyson or Melo is just ludicrous & biased beyond belief.

Im curious as to why you think this is gonna happen. I havent seen anything from Woodson to suggest that he wouldnt have us go back to isoing Melo once he returned from his possible hiatus.
Knicksfan: Hypocrite league that fines players after the game for flopping but in the game and with obvious flopping they call the fouls.

That's a good way of putting it. I was struggling to find the right words to explain why NYKM rubs so many here the wrong way. It's the extreme effort to control the feelings of fellow Knicks' fans here.

I don't get it, and he tends to address the poster personally instead of the content of the post..

Can't we all just get along? I mean, the team did just win... without Melo, even.


TKF does have strong views but he doesn't have anywhere near the anger toward fellow Knicks' fans that NYKMentality does. That's why TKF is one of the most popular posters here.

His anger is reserved for Melo.
