He's not trying limit Amare's minutes and he's not saving him for the playoffs; if he was then Woodson would be balancing Amare's minutes so he can finish games instead of pulling him with 5, 6, 8 minutes left in the game. Woodson isn't playing Amare because he either doesn't like him out there or he doesn't trust him out there. And, you can see and hear that this is starting to affect Amare so we might have a problem on our hands similar to last year's with Melo and MDA.

I believe I read/heard somewhere that Amare has a 30 minute limit with a goal of 25 mins or less per game at this point. It might have been Woodson that said it in an interview.

That's what I remember reading, a 30 minute cap. But he's only averging 23 mpg this month and if you look at his game logs he never plays more than 22 minutes against the good teams we've played since he's come back. 21 vs SAS, 22 vs Indy twice, 19 vs Chi, 28 and 20 vs Bos, 20 vs GS, and 21 vs Miami last night. It looks to me like Woodson doesn't trust him.

Who is stubborn and how??..Felton was having a better year than DWill before his injury..Don't ask me, ask Clyde...Also, I shoot straight about Felton..Dude is adequate not great..We had zero choice in signing him yet somehow u think he should play like Chris Paul..We are lucky to add him to the roster, lucky!!..Check the record...U wail and moan every time doesn't have a good game and even when u does...What's the obsession???...

My obsession is that I wish we signed a PG with a brain and we did not. stop making excuses for him - I would like him on our team the first 25 games of each season though. He should get a half max contract and half D-League contract.

His defense is now horrendous as well - that is just sad. Do you not see this?

U were whining the first 25 games too...His D has slipped a bit but it also has a lot to do with the picks the team can't pick up at the top of the key...U had no clue what he meant to the team and the offense while he went down..How can Ur knowledge of the game be taken seriously??..How are his game against Washington??..Two games ago??

I did give him another chance and wanted to like him to start the season but as always he gets worse as the season goes on with a myriad of excuses. So, as he declined, my disdain for him grew, yet again.

That ugly reading problem keeps rearing its head huh...They biggest problem I had with Billup's stint with the Knicks was that he couldn't run the pick and roll with Amare...And he was a chucker...Everything posted there confirms this..Read carefully...Again where does it say I thought Felton had a better career than Billup's ..This is becoming annoying...

Well said. I don't think many of us outright dislike Felton, but I don't get how they let Lin go (starter) and bring in Felton and Kidd, who at this point in their careers are bench players. Felton can start, but he is not the smartest and to me he would have been more suited to back up an adequate pg.

So, many are happy at the cost savings with Felton, but it looks like after this season we are going to be looking HARD for a replacement. He might end up costing us more than Lin when all is said and done, and by "more" I don't just mean $$$.

Sort of reminds me of JR as well. He is also a big savings, but the guy is hit or miss. We need a real #2 in the starting lineup. Stat needs to be put there. And then our bench is essentially JR and he doesn't do well under pressure, not at all.

These two cost savings might be our demise. I really hope not, as I said I like Felton, but he is in over his head. JR can be something special, but I don't think he will ever really grow up. Enjoy those semi often great games he has, but live with the many putrid ones as well.
