I think it's because he's white/Jewish.

This is the stretch run now, he has to be a heck of a practice player to get picked up now , teams are set in who's gonna play now.

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

Bell hasn't played all season, but would reportedly be a top target for the Lakers if he were bought out. Unfortunately, Jazz VP Kevin O'Connor said recently he might not buy Bell simply to prevent the 36-year-old defensive stopped from signing with L.A. The Jazz are only interested in a minimum buyout, but that's not something Bell's been willing to accept up to this point.

I think him and Raja Bell are definitely worth a look. Best case scenario is Casspi replaces Novak in the lineup and actually contributes something positive and Raja gives us a guard who can actually shoot. And we have 3 spots available in White, Copeland, and Sheed and Kenyon Martin only has a 10-day contract so that spot might be available as well.

Tomorrow is the last Day to add someone for them to be eligible for the playoff, right?

That's what someone was saying so if we want to try to improve the roster we've got about 24 hours to do so.

Casspi is a solid athlete in search of a game. Kinda like a rookie year Wilson Chandler. I think he could contribute for us as an energy guy. Big problem is that he is most effective running and gunning and...well, you've seen our roster.

a younger Nocioni that is not a very consistent shooter that also need's ball movement, picks, player movement, and most of all PENETRATION

Kenyon Martin should help our DEF out from the limited minutes I saw of him of him, especially with the PnR but we still need a G that can stay in front of their man cause Felton/Kidd/Pablo CAN NOT/ Iman *just not there yet*
I think he can help out shooting out but we still need to add a G that can penetrate/facilitate, defend *especially stay in front of PGs*, and hit a wide open 3pt shot consistently

Casspi is sort of JJ Redick but not as good. He has lost confidence in his shot which was his strongest part of his game.

Athletic and can run the floor good.

I thought Novak was to convert to be a Jew so he can fill the "Political" spot!

He'd be a natural fit in Brooklyn.

You guys are all over the place.

Casspi is a victim if being on bad teams with young guys ahead of him that they want to get minutes. Doesn't mean he's a bad player.

In my opinion, he would be better than Novak because the dude will physically compete and well slash and dunk the ball when given the opportunity. I would still rather give copeland those minutes but he would be great addition.

Problem is....who do we cut? The easiest answer is sheed but the team wants him to stay in the locker room and be available for the second round lmao....how arrogant.

Let's be real about Sheed, even if he is recovered in time to play in the playoffs he's going to be so out of shape that he'll be useless. If the Knicks want to keep him in the locker room they should hire him as an assistant coach or whatever position Baron Davis has. Cut Sheed, cut White or Copeland, and bring in Casspi and either Raja Bell or Delonte West.

Didn't Casspi just have his appendix removed? How long do they keep a player our after that kind of surgery? I remember he was highly regarded and we wanted to trade for him a few years ago, but he hasn't played well since then. Also he a SF and we really need more of a backcourt player.

Raja Bell either gets kept by Utah or he goes to the Lakers (Likes and played for D'Antoni and is friends with Kobe)- he ain't coming here.
