I know he feels bad!

Might you have a vid url that proves his feelings?

And don't forget, DLee is also Wilson Chandler's favorite food!

I use to like Lee's hustle as a knick his 1st 5 yrs in the league.

The story you hear from the Knicks is that his teammates used to call him FEMA because he’s never there when you need him.

...and even I know there's tons of vids of empty paint and uncontested dunks to show that.

Have a nice career DLee! Loved that video you made with Lin!

I think the criticism comes from that this is DLee's first such offense. Melo has done this before and is a repeat offender.

I actually like it when Melo gets into these altercations as long as he is with the Knicks. I don't like it when players don't man up and standup for themselves.

Do you know what his teammates call him now?

Know what its called when you give up a player before he reaches his potential and instead sign one past his prime (amare)?

You, me, we, no one knows that for sure. If Lee played, the whole dynamic of the game would have changed as well. You can't just say Lee didn't play so that's 18points they were missing. There is no way of knowing what the outcome would have been.

I agree nobody knows for sure, but considering the Warriors lack of depth in the front and David Lee’s ability to impact the game in more ways than just scoring, I personally believe they missed him BIG time yesterday.

Chandlers rebound totals say you are correct. Their guards didn't do much to help them on that end either.

the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt

Action, did you actually watch the video? Did you think Lee deserved a suspension? Looked to me like Lee's extent to the entire thing was a couple of pushes....sort of similar (a bit worse) to what Chandler was involved in. If the other players hadn't escalated it I doubt that anyone would be suspended...actually I'm shocked that Curry didn't get suspended.

The league office probably send out suspensions to the instigaters of the scuffle Hibbert and Lee.

The pushing match THEY started ended up in the stands with the fans with other players joining in, and that's why they got suspended.

I was watching the replays of the altercation - I'm surprised Curry didn't get suspended. He went after Hibbert a second time (and pushed him into the stands) after being tossed aside like a ragdoll trying to separate them.

I did watch the video & don't think that he should've been suspended but I really was just pointing out the national media hypocrisy on this issue. If Lee was suspended for instigating the initial situation then shouldn't KG also have been suspended instead of being a master manipulator & savvy vet who got into Melo's head??? And since he was suspended why isnt his leadership & maturity being criticized by all the same people that claim he's an All-Star now & we never should've let him go??? I'm just looking for a fair standard to be applied equally by both the media & the fanbase.

kg and lee are not comparable situations. one was mental and the other physical.

also, as you have admitted, agreed, conceded that it was a mistake that lee and hibbert should have been suspended, why even make it an issue?

you are putting the cart before the horse here. you are saying that, since he was suspended, it in fact was an indictment on his leadership and maturity. but since it was wrong to suspend him then it is also wrong to accuse him of not being a leader and lacking maturity.

make sense?

knicks win 38-43 games in 16-17. rose MUST shoot no more than 14 shots per game, defer to kp6 + melo, and have a usage rate of less than 25%

If fans would have been injured or thrown into the melee, it would have never happen if Lee didn't push Hibbert and Hibbert retaliate. Steph Curry aggressively perused Hibbert like he wanted to fight, not once but twice.

League just said those who started it will be punished unless others who joined would have thrown punches or hit fans by accident.

Very easy to understand

wrong. look at the video. lee walked away after the shoves were exchanged. it was a mistake to suspend him. that's the same ham-fisted justice levied on stoudemire and the frenchman diaw.

just because stern's nba has an office that enforces stupid rules doesn't make those stupid rules true examples of fairness and justice. hence they are not necessarily a basis for making moral indictments of players. if anything curry should have been suspended though i applaud his nerve.

and this i say before addressing your useless hypothetical which itself undermines what you are trying to make me understand.

With you, Andrew. Don't think Lee did anything that you don't see several times per game. Hibbert overreacted -- and Lee defended himself. Still, I understand suspending Lee, as he was the instigator and even if what he did doesn't usually create an incident, I'm OK with punishing it when it does, but Hibbert should have gotten a bigger penalty than Lee.

BTW, Did anyone read that Harvey Araton book, "When the Garden was Eden." Good read if you're interested in the championship teams. Was interesting to hear about how the old timers loved Lee ... Willis, Clyde, etc. ... for his hustle and smarts on the court and for his classiness off of it. Things like flying across the country to go to funerals of front office personnel. Just a good guy.

Melo shouldn't have been suspended either. The point is the double standard applied for different guys.
