Woody mostly likes to switch 1's and 2's and 2's and 3's. I dont have a huge problem with that. But, there needs to be more trapping, hedging, and closing out. Too many late rotations and half ass attempts. Novak had a terrible game on defense tonight. Felton was either half asleep, over committing, or helping Novak getting burnt. Amare was just f'ing awful. Too many fouls also. This whole team has been sleeping on d, coasting with their record. Time to break the bad habits and stat playing championship level ball.

The problem is that Kidd is a Sg at this point, not a pg. He cant penetrate. Hes a spot up shooter and a good post feeder. I think he guards 2's better than 1's also.

he is 100% right, Woodson does not have the player's needed with speed/skills/athleticism/quickness/length/ IQ to play the philosophy he wants to impliment on the Knick's His philosophy is flawed and allow's our opponents to dictate the match ups and pick on our weak links

did the knicks actually fire d'antoni? still chucking 900 3's a game and doing this awful defensive switching. watch any good team play defense and they don't switch half as much as the knicks do. its all laziness.
