I liked the moves considering where we were with the Melo trade, but I didn't like the Melo trade in the first place. A shame there's no way to get Josh Harrelson back.

I still hate that melo made us have to unload a ton of pieces for him. He was so worried about the impending lockout that he couldnt just wait for us to sign him

That's the difference between Melo and LeBron, aside from the obvious. LeBron took less money to build a winner. Melo and Amar'e both took max to ensure there would be no third superstar. Then Amar'e can't stay healthy and we're a one star team.

I am not ready to call Prigioni a star yet.

Have you been watching this team the past 2 months? They havent been good. Also that was an easier schedule now we have the toughest schedule. You're spending too much time with NYKMentality lol

I watch the NBA too. Teams go up and down throughout he season. Relax.

Knicks have to prove it and so far they havent

Knicks #2 in the East.

Few more games like this, and you'll be reminding us that we're still 4th in the East, and nothing to worry about.

Knicks team that beat Miami/Spurs is NOT the same team we're seeing now. Same players, yeah, but same mentality, no.

Where have you been the last 15-20 games? This team has sucked since their blistering start. The only thing they do well is talking but they never back it up.

the knicks have playued two of the worse games consecutively that i have ever seen. However there have been a lot of times to say **** this team over the past ten years. I am not there yet with this grouo. The knicks had one winning season with mike d and made the playoffs once with isiah. The start of this season was amazing. Whatever happens i know the gm isnt making moves to make his coaching hire look right or chasing the flavor of the month player with future draft picks. Things sucked today biut they have been a lot worse

The Knicks escaping the first round seems very unlikely right now...

Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

This is turning out exactly how I thought. Never was excited about this roster, and now there talking about trading Shump one of our ONLY up and coming young talents? I can't stand our owner. This is how it's gonna be as long as he's calling the shots.

You're coming out of the gates to set the tone for the Second Half, which also INCLUDES the Playoffs,

this is the type of game you have to come out and bang it

knicks came out of the gates for four years after dantoni training camps and lost a ton of games every year. The knicks had one post all star game practice. This was a horrible loss as was the raptors. Not sure why the urgency wasnt there but i have seen far worse and much less passion.

Can't really compare this team to Dantoni teams the first two season. This was suppose to be a 55 win team

Strange, I actually appreciate Melo more now than ever. The thing is, he can't do it alone. He is the man and there isn't a true number two on this team. Lin could have been that, but hey, at least we are saving some money.

The season is now riding on a returm of the Geriatric bunch. I hope JR starts playing well again to boot.

I know a few posters say there is a lot of negativity here. But, it is on all the Knicks boards. NY'ers are sick of what Dolan has done to this team. BTW - i wouldn't be shocked to see Denver and Houston pass us in the standings. I know, I know, we were built for the playoffs, we'll turn it on then, the Geriatric bunch will be back, Stat will start and mesh with Melo, and on and on...

The guy has gone 12 for 45 in the last two games. How can you appreciate that?

this... well done calling it like you see it. There were high expectations for this team and there still should be. Teams go through bad losses and sometimes you need your nose rubbed in it to get motivated. Thats human nature. Lets see how they respond.

"made us"? C'mon man, nobody put a gun to dolans head and made him do it. Its what he wanted. He had leverage and Denver had a deal with Nets. That was the value.

Lebron was a free agent with not opt, no pending surgery, no CBA uncertainty as was Bosh and Wade.

The sky is falling, and so have been the knicks......

this has been going on for weeks.

They are falling into their place which most thought at seasons beginning was about 45-53 games.

The trend is not good as we are playing .500 for some time while other teams are moving up on us.

JR is gravitating into where he things he should be which is a $5mm per year clown.

Don't fret, its possible the team is not falling as others are improving.

Fuck this team? The dark side is always there. and So is the door.

74-44. Fuck this team. That's pathetic.

I'd like to sub in for Jason Kidd. I think I can give better production.

Yeah, I miss Sabrina Fairchild too Solace.

Jason Kidd is tired and old. I think even I can give better production and he's my age. Oh, wait, nvm, I'm not immortal.

I liked the defensive effort he showed last season but, this season, so far...If this was the very start of his rookie season, I'd be calling him a bum. IF he isn't fully healed then he probably shouldn't be playing but, if he IS fully healed then, he needs to show more.

Honestly, we all think JUST because he's so young, he will make a full recovery. This may not be the case; he may never regain the lateral quickness and maneuverability that made his such a defensive force last season. If he can't regain his defensive ability he becomes a liability because he's not a good scorer. Heck, he seems to have lost his ups too.

I always felt we overvalued him from the start but, right now he not contributing much of anything.

the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt

This is why I was complaining about Jimmy Dol. Seems like everyone is against my philosophy that a sucky team starts from the top, the owner, and that we need to force new ownership to even have a chance overcoming the 40+ year old championship drought. But enough said, I don't need anymore flames coming my way like before.
