Last night was a great night of Knicks basketball. The Miami Heat may have won, but we stopped the bleeding after four consecutive loses. We also took advantage of teams such as Brooklyn, Boston and Chicago losing. Teams such as Indy, Atlanta and Milwaukee all had off nights (+.5).
As of right now we're 6 1/2 games behind Miami, .5 behind of Indiana, 2.0 ahead of Brooklyn, 2 1/2 ahead of Atlanta, 2 1/2 ahead of Chicago, 5 1/2 ahead of Boston, 7 1/2 ahead of Milwaukee and 11 1/2 ahead of Toronto/Philadelphia.
What I like about our current situation, is we control our seeding. Indy has one more loss, Brooklyn has 4 more loses, ATL has 3 more loses and Chicago has 4 more loses.
1.) MIA: 40-14.
2.) IND: 35-21.
3.) NYK: 33-20.
4.) BKN: 33-24.
5.) ATL: 31-23.
6.) CHI: 32-24.
7.) BOS: 29-27.
8.) MIL: 26-28.
9.) TOR: 23-33.
10.) PHI: 22-32.
Pretty boring night of Eastern Conference basketball tonight.
Atlanta (5) @ Detroit.
Boston (7) @ Utah.
Toronto (9) vs. Washington.
On a side note, if Golden State knocks off Indy tomorrow night, we'll be right back to the number two seed.
