yes....these last few years have ruined me.

Sorry. I can't. If we're not good enough this season to secure a top 4 with Boston losing two guards for the season, Chicago not having Derrick Rose for most/all of the season, Pacers without Granger, Brooklyn without Lopez part of the season and a not 100% Deron Williams, the Hawks trying to dismantle their team and Carmelo Anthony having his best professional season EVER, then we really need to blow this thing up. This team is not getting younger, so whatever the upside is, it's this season and next. It can only go downhill from there. In other words, no more excuses.

Glad you're free to dispense injury passes to other teams, but not ours.

When you are paying Amare & Melo $20mil a piece to get you far in the playoffs and it doesn't come close to happening. There is a tendency by fans and media to blame everyone but the stars. Shumpert, Woodson, Kidd, Felton, Novak, Brewer, White, Copeland, Kurt Thomas, Herb

ECF? That just means that in the 3 years of the Melo-Amare era, the Knicks will have won 2 playoff series. That's not something to be proud of.

Sadly, I have a feeling the Knicks will play 500 ball the remainder of the season. Looking at 48+ wins.

Realistically I'm looking forward to 2015 and the day Amare is off this team and Melo & Tyson take a pay cut or better yet moved so we can finally build a championship contender

That's not how we roll in NYC,

at that point, watch out for the max contract offer to Brandon Jennings

you act like amare is the reason we haven't won a championship, realistically, 2015 can be the start of a rebuilding mode that may take another 5 to 8 years to build a real contender..

This is by far the best opportunity we have to win a championship, then any roster we have had in over 10 years.

So you can pipe dream all you want about amare being off this team like that would give us a better chance when you know thats far from reality.

You sound like the fools who beg for the knicks to trade slow ass EWING in his last 2 seasons as a knick, like we were going to land some one better..

Support the team and urge them to play the right way, cause we have the talent

Thats exactly what I've been doing. Having Amare and his $20mil come off the bench for 20mins is not going to cut it. Might as well get the most out of the next 2 1/2yrs

Look bad contracts are a norm in sports. More then 75% of all athletes are over pd.

its alarming how melo gets more support then amare..

At the end of the day, its all about woodson, its like a chef with all the ingredients and the food still taste bland

Actually it's not this; I've said it's important to see the Knicks at full strength to gauge where we really are. That being said, we had a golden opportunity with all the other teams except Miami having issues to more core pieces than we have. I don't feel like we've taken adequate advantage of these opportunities in the last 25-26 games. Ahead of Brooklyn by 2 games when they started out 14-14 and we started out 18-5 is really not acceptable.

Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

Am I the only 1 on the ledge. All the good feeling I had about this team at the start of the year has vanished. Most of the older players brought in for depth have slowed down or have been flat out awful " Im talking to u Marcus Camby". This team has 2 draft picks the next 4 seasons so we cant rebuild. Even Melo having a great year he is still a flawed player. He is so hard to find a complimentary 3/4 to play next to him. We may be the 2 seed but we arent much better then the Nets,Celtics,Pacers,Hawks or Bulls. Would anyone be shocked if this team loses in the 1st round. This team will continue to get worse. The only chance this team has to get better is to somehow find a Franchise player with a pick in the 20's. We thought things were dark before wait 2 seasons it will be the THomas era again

Yea I made a similar thread about the early season excitement being gone after the pathetic Toronto loss. You said if somehow we draft a franchise player with our 1st Rd pick. Chances are he will never see the court in favor of "win now" veterans and will eventually be traded. I've also brought up in the past that in 2 1/2yrs there's a good chance we see a new Isiah/Layden like era where Dolan refuses to rebuild properly and we wind up with other teams castoffs. You know the McDyess, Marbury, Francis, Curry & Crawfuls of the world

Our SG (kidd) is avg almost 2 pts in the last 9/10 games, 2 ast, and 2 rebounds in almost
30 min

Woodson says no changing of the starting line up..Some coaches just beg to get fired

I don't know how we will do in the playoffs. However, I will not judge them on what they do or don't do, I will judge them based on what Denver does or does not do.

Isn't that the barometer?

Eh, that doesn't excite me. At that point, Melo and Tyson will be in their 28th season (combined).
