People keep calling his scoring sporadic but, he always averaged within a point or 2 of Houston with better passing and rebounding. If he'd been able to play the 2guard, I have little doubt he'd have averaged more than Alan.
I used to get skinned alive regularly on this board when maintaining that exact opinion back when VanDundee was actually doing it.
See the 99 Finals. That's what a prototypical 2 guard is capable of.
BK...too early for Ewing. Spree too late for Ewing and too early for this team. Imagine what Spree of '99 starting on this team at the 2 would be like...
