Why??? Why for Jared Dudley???

Shump is Jordan Very Lite!! Why can't we keep a pick for a change

NY:

Dudley
Gortat
1st

Phx:

Shump
Novak
Camby

Camby deal expires next year so they get a young piece, a semi young shooter, and a future expiring. No it's not that great for them but why make it fair?

Deal or no deal?

I'd feel sorry for Camby- we go to great lengths to recruit him over summer, he signs here as his last destination before retirement (could have signed with Heat), only for us to turn round and screw him over!

I think Suns can get something pretty good for Gortat, and also he is a cry baby who cries if he doesn't start, and then if he does start he cries if he isn't the focal point of the offense, despite the fact he lacks the skills to be the focal point of the offense.

No deal!

Small tweeks make teams.

briggy is on the right track to "Win now".

These are all small pieces but Dudley does solve a need.

Jermain O'neal is a 5-10 minutes guy if healthy. Not much to ask. If sheed is cooked the question is do you really want to go into the playoffs with Just Camby?

First round pick you get another player to "develop" for trade.

And the Beat goes on.........

our needs aren't at SF. Weaknesses are in the frontcourt and arguably at SG

Wow, I just coincidentally referred to him as a poor man's Tony Allen in another thread! Allen is an efficient offensive player, though. Shumpert can aim to be like Tony Allen but he has a long way to go.

I remember Chris Mills- wasn't he the Cavs player we traded for to solidify our bench, only for him to have a poor season followed by a trade to the Warriors as part of the Sprewell deal? Those 1998 Knicks tend to be forgotten- never quite clicked, and got pushed out of history by the 97 and 99 Knicks!

Jermaine Oneal means 0 to the Suns

He should mean -1 to us.

Rick Fox is a perfect comparison to Dudley actually. Athough Rick played good D. Solid end of the bench role player on a championship squad

I meant that Mills was more of a less efficient volume scorer and Dudley's #s are much better.

I won't be expecting much out of him with that being said, there's no way you can focus with your status in limbo

I look at Dudley as a bigger Kevin Martin with worse Ft shooting. The thing with Dudley is his numbers on D has went down the past few years. A scouting department can watch tape and see if its fixable.
