That's why people overlook them, cuz most fans don't really value defensive talent. People think guys that are defenders rather than bigtime scorers are scrubs. Having a team full of high effort guys is a rare thing. Minus Rose that team is well equipped to defend at a high level.

The Knicks pretty much tried to do the same thing with the roster. They have a lot of good defensive talent mixed in with good scoring talent. The only issue we've had is that we lost too many guys. Getting back Shump, STAT and Felton is huge. Then if we can eventually get Sheed and Camby back that really makes the Knicks an equal match for any team in the league. Not really scared of the Bulls if the Knicks are healthy. I respect the Bulls as one of the top teams, but the Knicks are an Elite team too IMO.

agree,
amen

NYk can compete now when healthy & later in April

LOL

Memphis has one of best records in NBA for seasons and this season
close game but BULLs about to kick their butt into loss column, and Chicago doing all this
with their best mvp player out a yr, is amazing

Grizzlies has same record as nyk
betcha' the West coast NBA teams are glad the chi-town bulls are in the east & not in the western conference
*grin

The Bulls would get raped out West, effort doesn't cut it, you need a transition game wins out west, Chicago would be one of the worst teams in the league out there....thus the reason why they are 4-10 against the West.

Sounds offensive ..meaning like Bulls effort offensively wont be able to keep pace
with the fancy scoring teams. BULLs took GRIZ to brink before losing & BULLs unlike other teams had 2 best players D.Rose /Deng
out.

Also I'll state the 4-10 record? regular season got squat to do with the regular season
and I disagree the BULLs would make playoffs even if close to .500, If you see the trend recently the great record teams
like MAVs, Jazz aint that way no more. Sure the Warriors, Clips and few others have replaced those with their stealth records.

However I maintain if BULLs whom once was part of NBA/West conf. was in west they also would get to play alot of bad NBA west
teams same as the bad EAST teams we have here

The Bulls could not play their style of basketball out west, that's the point I'm making.

They would be no better than the Blazers.

I called it, man,

guys were writing Bulls off before season started, but they have a great coach, they have pieces that fit, they're hardnosed, no nonsense, they have a guy that went at LeBron without fear,

Bulls is loaded with all the best ingredients and in the best proportions, I can see them as the Spurs of the East for the next 10 years,

D Rose is everything you want in your Superstar player, he has NO faults, at all, guy is coming back and winning two more MVPs AT LEAST, book it

For all the talk about how strong the West is. I don't think they can keep up with the psychical brand of basketball that is the EAST. Indy and Boston competed a lot better with Miami than OKC did last year

Miami wasn't physical though. OKC just was young and didn't know what to expect, and had their third best player play like total trash, whereas previously he was very helpful to what they do.

Indy and Boston also played against a Miami team missing players, OKC didn't.

I don't know if teams like OKC and Clippers play championship caliber playoff basketball. Like the Spurs and Lakers who out physical the physical East. Teams like Heat and Bulls win because of the greatness of MJ and Lebron.

All comes down to experience

I told them guys at local barbershop, if Heat won 2 of first 3 games vs. OKC, forget the Thunder
95% of barbershop picked Thunder to beatup Heat

Heat had exp ..with Wade and LBJ being playoff battle tough even if LBJ had his experiences with CAVs

OKC may do it this year, but dont be surprised if the tough HEAT doesnt repeat.

This season will be interesting since neither West OR East best team is unbeatable this yr.
perhaps outside OKC whom is getting the experience now for past 3 seasons.

Knicks need to win 1 first round game before any thoughts of HEAT being dethroned.

Bulls, Indy, Nets still having better built for playoff run & competing vs the HEAT
Pacers & Nets are bad matchups for HEAT where BULLs & NYK matchup best vs. Heat.

Boston can match up with any team & has experience, grit & wit
however Celtics success will be better suited vs. rest of the NBA East outside the HEAT.

Miami is scared to death to play & lose to Celtics & thus Heat will raise their level of play
against Boston Celtics solely.

OKC plays championship ball otherwise they wouldn't have made it, they beat all of the teams that do play championship ball to get there.
If I'm NYK's Avoid the BULLs in playoffs, I'd bet Heat,Pacers,Celtics,Nets wants no part of Chicago either!
