Was so pumped to see the return of Iman Shumpert. When Shump hit his first shot attempt (3 pointer), I went nuts.

Missed the game today. How did he look physically? Especially his jumping ability and his lateral movement?

Thanks. I thought about looking through it but didn't want to sift through 22 pages. Nice to hear, hopefully he can be the same sort of shutdown defender he was last year.

Just finished watching the game on Encore, Iman Shumpert is the truth out there.

If Felton is the lil engine on offense for this team that gets us running, then Shumpert has to be the lil engine on defense that makes the team sac-up and put the clamps on opposing teams.

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

It was great to see Iman on the court. He looked awesome. Can't wait until his minutes increase.

Shump is one of the moast important pieces. His defense alone helps us when we play against good backcourts. Also I think his offense is getting better which will make him even more dangerous

Shump wasn't even at his best defensively yesterday. He lost Prince a couple of times, and gave Knight the lane once, although he missed the shot. But, that steal and silky smooth layup he had was so Shumpert. I'm amazed by how fluid his finish was on that play, given the fact that this was his first game back. Also? His jumper looked really good. He's clearly been working on it; it's much more polished than it was last year. He's developed a nice, smooth stroke. Very good form.

I have missed his energy and youthful enthusiasm for the game. His presence felt like such a great lift for the team - I can see why Woody had him in the starting lineup. It's no coincidence that the team got off to a good start for the first time in ages with Shump back in the lineup. Very good decision on the coach's part.

It's going to take Shump a while to learn what the other guys have been learning from Woodson defensively all year. Once he is up to par watch out!
