Melo is recently separated from his wife 2 months, KG hit a nerve. He can't act human?

Bingo! this wasnt trash talk it was personal , some things are off limits , KG is a POS and always has been, I hope he learns from this and knows where to draw the line , he looked scared of Melo, Garnett is all bark and no bite Melo would have knocked him out if that was in the street and he would have deserved it.

i don't mind that he acted human, but KG has said some awful things to people. he wished "happy mothers day" to tim duncan, knowing full-well that duncan's mother died of breast-cancer when duncan was 14 years old. duncan didn't even look at him after he said it. he called charlie villanueva a cancer-patient, even though charlie has a disease. he didn't do anything. i just wish melo would have taken the same tact.

Not defending his actions, just explaining it. KG baited him, Melo took the hook line and sinker.

That said, this has nothing to do with his Denver days or the Mardy Collins/Nate Robinson brawl incident. This was about KG rubbing salt on an open wound. It's obvious Melo would rather leave his family matters off the court, yet KG chose to go there.

Kendrick Perkins/Zach Randolph had a similiar incident earlier this season. These things happen in the heat of competition.

Someone made a good point. Wouldn't see Lebron, Durant, Chris Paul, Dirk, Duncan, Villanueva etc stake out an opposing players lockerroom and bus

Moral of the story? If you are pissed where you want to confront the other dude, then just punch him right away during the game. At least, you get your moneys worth. Just no cheap shots. I cringe when I see the Kermit/RudyT incident.

LOL... so you list one future hall of famer after another then the random Villanueava mention. Why not add Zach Randolph to your list?

That poster was me...I listed a bunch of players.

I think posters want to naturally defend Melo because he's a Knick but let's flip this.

Let's say Melo did this to another player we were playing. Let's say Melo tells Jimmy Butler on the Bulls I'm going to Bully you all day you B(while throwing elbows all game) and if you try and resist me I'm going to Bully your whole entire family because your whole family is Bs. This is after Melo drops 50 on him because Butler nor the Bulls had an answer for him.

Okay Jimmy Butler has a trash talk thresh hold because he doesn't accept anyone disrespecting his family. So he decides to show up outside our Locker Room at the United Center after the game and attempts to meet Melo at our team bus to address him man-to-man but does nothing btw just posturing fake thug style with some other Bull players surrounding him.

All you Irrational Carmelo Loving Fans on here would feel Jimmy Butler was Flying Flaming Scrub....."who does he think he is trying to attempt to strike fear in the heart of the league MVP after the game is over getting thrashed in the game."

Garnett is the Ultimate Douche Persona Non Grata..... but Melo was complete Buffoon doing what he did no matter what Garnett said, which at this point is still unconfirmed as factual.

Because Melo and Randolph have had character issues in the past. The guys I mentioned would never do what Melo did

One of the best gentlemen in the league Antonio McDyess, guess what even Garnett had a tussle with him. This is who Garnett is. It was mentioned last year he trashed talk Lebron so bad Game 4, I believe it led to Lebron dropping 45/15/5 on the Celtics in Game 5.

Lebron did not stalk Garnett Ese Gang Banger style ready for a jump off because of the trash talk. It was one of the reasons Lebron did that Yeah Yeah Yeah thing while extending his arm and ball out in front of Garnett's chest closing out the game. That's how you go back at a D-Bag, you beat him at the game of basketball.

Maybe we both did but my post came right after one made by gunsnewing in the game thread, I was pretty one of the first who said he'd be suspended too....

True but two of those guys are not saints either and had spotty character acts also. Atleast they kept it on the floor though unlike Melo.

Yes of course.

Melo's a loser, and doesn't have the IQ or presence of mind of Charlie V. Check.

Gee, I wish we had Lebron, Durant, Duncan, Dirk (now that he has a chip) instead of this smiling douche who didn't smile the one time I wish he had just smiled. Oh wait, I did say that I don't like that he smiles all the time, right? Right?
Yes, you Melo haters make tremendous arguments.

Next week, Melo's back to being just fat. And he's not cut enough. Or he's too skinny to play the 4.
