Knicks can't match anything, JR Smith isn't going to be getting offer sheets.

I think the knicks and JR will come to an understanding.

J.R Smith without question. For more than one reason too. J.R Smith has the potential to become our very own John Starks. Everyone talks about J.R's offensive ability, but this man is a pure fire animal on the defensive end of the court. Remember, Michael Jordan dominated our #3 for many of years, but at the end of the night? J.R Smith has the same type of heart that Starks played with. I just love everything that J.R brings to the table as I did with Starks. Can't wait to see a deadly backcourt of J.R Smith and Iman Shumpert.

JR is a better player all around player than Gerald "Trash" Wallace imo.

Yeah, Gerald really hasn't been the same player this year. I'm not sure if age has caught up with him or if he's if the stink of from New Jersey/Brooklyn is weighing him down. Outside of Blatche and Lopez, everyone on that team has been a huge disappointment.

Wallace would appear to be on the downside of his career - and if we are comparing the two players this year, then your co worker must be a brooklyn homer because there is no comparison.

Smith has the handle to take over a play off game - we always see that when defenses get tight and rough play is allowed, its the player who can get off their own shot that makes an impact - and JR Smith this year has had that kind of 'possessed' play at times - where its like the other players on the court don't matter - he is out there alone playing a game of pick up against himself.

I wouldn't trade the two for each other, even if their contracts were reversed! Smith has been nothing short of inspirational!

Careful with the religious references to Knick superheroes! We are progressing rapidly through fables to fairytales to a full-on homer mystery religion. And so I'm not misunderstood, I would gladly register as a charter member of this new faith.

Winning is such a great problem to have.

How anyone, even a deranged N*yets homer, could, after this season's results so far, mention Gerald Wallace in the same sentence as JR is just a bit ridiculous.

From what little I listen to N*yets games, Gerald Wallace has been a stabilizing influence on the N*yets.

JR has been outright phenomenal and has provided multiple Starksian highlight moments. No comparison.

This year, JR. But just about any other year I'm taking the solid G Wallace.
