I like Farmar as a 10-15mpg backup. It's a shame that Delonte West is a psychopath because he'd be a good addition.

I dont think we cut white, as you cans ee woodson likes him as a player, if not it would have beern brewer out there during the closing minutes, but he chose white to come in.

We will be fine with kidd and prigioni, people forget that pablo is used to playing heavy minutes and now is his time to shine. Kidd will still play the same amount of minutes( 25-29) but he will play them all in the PG position, with pablo taking care of the rest.

I think we should be fine for the 4-6 weeks that Felton is going to be out. Shump is supposed to come back in January right? Plus January schedule is light.

I think eventually Shump and Kidd will be the starting guards with Felton coming of the bench splitting time with Kidd.

A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

Man nothing would make me happier than if the Knicks can go on a tear with Kidd and Prigs splitting time at PG. Amare and Shump elevating the level of play. Make Felton earn any minutes he gets!

God how I wish we could Hot Tub Time Machine this exact team to 5 years ago...we'd be talking dynasty!

Grunwald has done a hell of a job building this team, depth wise.

It's said Felton told writers after surgery he will be out 4-6 weeks. I figured as much. Sad but may be a good thing. The team needed an excuse to rest Felton anyway now maybe he can heal his bruise hands as well. I hope the coaches make sure he keeps his weight down while he rest though.

I thought he said at worst he'd be out 4-6 weeks, but he'd have a better idea Thursday once a NY expert had examined it.

Man- I guess the basketball gods just wanted his hands broken, he gets a bone bruise on one hand, gets a bone bruise on the other, then finally a broken pinky- it was like a lower key Final Destination.

On the plus side, January and February are pretty light in number of games (unlike the first 2 months of the season), so I suppose if anyones going out for a month now is the least worst time. However it's very frustrating as I was looking forward to seeing Amar'e and Felton playing together again.

I messed up my pinky playing ball and never got treatment. It healed but its now permanently crooked lol


same here.
although I've got like 4 crooked fingers xD
played a lot of basketball and handball
never once had a cast or anything like that though.

Felton out of a month, while Lin's Rockets win 5 straight and Jeremy's good for 17/8 and 55% shooting over that stretch.

Fishmike - The curse of Lin lives on. We spoke of this last year. It is a bit ironic that many of us (including me) were worried about injuries at the PG position and in general due to age, and the iron horse Felton is out now. Having someone of Lins caliber at this time would be best. Though, Prigs can hold his own.

I am a bit upset at the coach. This is why playing through bone bruises on your hands is a bad idea, it just opens up other injuries to happen (due to compensation and such). I wanted Felton to have a break, but not 4-6 weeks. I hope Prigs can help here, with Stat coming back, I have to say, Prigs is the more intelligent of the two between him and Felton, so perhaps it ends up being a hidden blessing.

I was really looking fwd to ray and amare playing together executing that Pnr to perfection...cause unlike tyson amare can nail that midrange shot...hopfully prigs can make it happen..everything happens for reason is what I live by...smh
