that and for every good Zeke pick there was a lemon or a total swing and miss. Like taking Balkman with Rondo on the board (if memory serves me). The only thing Zeke did was actually draft guys.

Picks are going to be huge, and should be looking to aquire them. Knicks are going to need the cheap labor if nothing else

that's right... Lowry was also passed up but at the time we were told it was no big deal because we bought Malik rose's **** contract to draft the immortal Mardy Collins.

Isiah's best draft pick was David Lee and Isiah said himself that he had no interest in Lee and that he was lucky he listened to his draft staff

if Isiah wasn't obsessed with the spotlight he probably would have fit in rather nicely as a member of a scouting department. But not running it... if you look at his draft history in Toronto it isn't that impressive because while he drafted good players he could have drafted better players. But he is a narcissist that loved to see his goofy ass grin on the backpages

anyway, there's my 'honest credit' to Isiah. What a curse he's been... and on that note, deuces. Wasting more of my time with Isiah Thomas is just plain dumb

isiah knew talent, just didn't know how to put it together and often gave up too much value to get that talent.. that was his problem.. he should have been a scout, not a GM or coach..

Denver has had an insanely bad schedule to start the season - 18 away and 8 home games, and their opponents have a .542 winning%. They've been consistently in the top 10 in Hollinger's power rankings. I think they'll finish with at least a .600 winning percentage - maybe even upper .600s. They're currently #7 in the league in power rankings and we're #5.

they have been on the road a lot, tough schedule.. last night I was watching the game of course and you can see the advantage they have at home.. the spurs were tired.. denver can run you out of that building in that thin air.... at one point pop reverted to "hack a mcgee".. it didn't work... and they had no one that could handle gallo...

Speaking of Ezekiel, for those of us that have NBA TV, will get to see everday!

ATLANTA -- Hall of Famer Isiah Thomas will join NBA TV as a studio analyst.

Thomas will debut Friday and make several appearances a month. He'll also be a regular contributor to NBA.com.

The 12-time All-Star point guard led the Detroit Pistons to two NBA titles. But he's more recently remembered for his stint running the New York Knicks, who failed to win a playoff game with Thomas as coach or president. His tenure was marked by big contracts for marginal players, the acquisitions of Stephon Marbury and Eddy Curry and a sexual harassment scandal.

Thomas coached in college at Florida International for three seasons before being fired in April with a record of 26-65.

Are any of the guys you mentioned the centerpiece of their team? No. They all are one piece; Important pieces, but just pieces. Secondly, you need complimentary pieces. What Isiah did was not the way to build an NBA team. It works on Playstation, though...
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

Right.

This whole thread is hilarious. The Somberettes will tell you:
1) Don't pee on the yoots we traded away when they're busy wetting they're pants in other people's jerseys; it only matters what they did while they were here.
but,
2) Praise the yoots and rage on the stupidity of our franchise when they play well in other places.

If you wait long enough, hopefully we will see the resurrection of Eddy Curry and Jerome Jordan and Fishlips, appearing on an MVP list!
No amount of facts will change unbelief.

Tony Douglas. He actually said "TD is playing well". SMH.

Anyone busy googling Landry's stats right now?

I agree. I am now boycotting NBA TV.

I think Isiah isn't bad as a scout at all. I just think he cannot see the bigger picture. Most people can't either, and that's why only a handful good at being GMs. I think it will be good idea again if he works as a scout for Knicks, but nothing more than that. Maybe he has way too much in common in terms of his practice with Jimmy Dolan and that's why Jimmy always cherished him (I always mock them being gay couple, but I was only half serious), which makes more sense because that's what Jimmy does and fails. But yeah, Isiah do get credit for scouting, even if he doesn't take full credit himself.

I don't want him anywhere near the Knicks in any capacity. Not sure what Dolan's deal is with the guy but despite all of the damage and embarassment he caused the team he seems to want him back in some capacity. In regards to the Knicks scouts I think they have done pretty well getting guys in here with second round picks and from all around the globe that can play. Isiah does not have a track record of success and he doesn't want to be in the background.

I totally agree with you about him not wanting to be in the background and would want to crave more.. nvm.. forget what I said.. Isiah Thomas should stay away from Knicks as much as possible.. good luck separating him and Jimmy Dolan tho..

Nate's deal for this season is not guaranteed for the season until January 10th.

Rose is due back as is someone else.

Nate might be cut sooner than later.

I don't know what the Globetrotters can pay but Nate would be a hell of an attraction to see!

n8 seems to have turned the corner (or would you disagree Nalod). Maybe the lack of offers this off season sobered him up but, from what I have seen, he's actually starting to resemble a point guard, has played under control and provided a good spark off the bench
the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt
