Too many jumpers and he ends up with those 10-28 shooting nights and thats not the good Melo. Too much play in the paint and you can see his body starts to take a beating and he misses games.

Stat will really help (remember no Camby either) and getting Melo back to SF will be huge. Melo at PF is like David Lee at center. Sure it looks good at times and the numbers are gaudy but its not a long term ideal solution. After 20 games at PF you can already see the wear and tear.

I'm with you... he's best served at SF, but if the guys will give him some space. Which would be fine if the only other proven way for Amar'e to be effective offensively wasn't the high screen (Chandler is obviously better). Now, if Amar'e's lessons with Hakeem pay off--JACKPOT

and thats why you want Melo at SF. At the end of the day he's more likley to attack the basket and play physical (good Melo). Against PFs it too temping to use quickness and settle for jumpers. The guy has a good shot, and when he's hot he's hot (very Sprewell like IMO there) but overall you want penetration and points in the paint. Its when he's best
