He can fit with any lineup.

I wish we could see now something like those lockout workout vids he was circulating back then.

It looked like he really was working on the mid range j alot even back then.

I am hoping the knee is stable.

I hope the cramping is gone for good.

and lets be honest, he is a serious talent upgrade over Brewer and white.. it's not even a debate there..... I like shump because he is a DOG, he will just get after it, and he has SKILL , to go with it....

I hope that he sees his place within the rotation. I remember plenty of 20 shot games by the rook. Maybe playing along side of Kidd will improve his shot selection.

If he continues to take care of his body, and woodson properly manages his minutes, I think he will continue to be an effective player for us through the years.

I've been so impressed with J.Kidd that I would like to see him in a coaching role with the Knicks after his contract expires.

Maybe he can replace Herb Williams on the bench(sorry Herb).

herb is like a nyc ****roach...he has survived everything, how many coaches have come and gone, and herb still remains.... haha, teflon herb!

He's gotta be ironing Dolan's clothes on the side or taking his dog's out for walks in Central Park or something.

There's no reasonable explanation!

i know herb is a good guy and all, but what is his role? it seems all of our big men seek outside help on their games.... kind of odd.. not that I want herb gone, he is a classy dude, but what does he do for us exactly? LOL

Sometimes loyalty goes a long way. You just don't kick people like that to the curb. Herb is also very active in the community.

Y'all know Herb has been the snitch for the front office for years.
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

I love Shumpert but his jumper is not consistent - based on last year - and he will not consistently punish teams for doubling off him. Shumpert shot 30% from three last year. Not nearly good enough. I don't believe Shumpert has a consistent mid-range jumper either. He is young and he will improve but not enough to provide the consistent shooting to space the floor for Melo to work and perhaps Amar'e down the line. I would prefer either of the two starting lineups:

Felton
Kidd
Shumpert
Melo
Chandler

or

Felton
Kidd
Melo
Amar'e
Chandler

In short, I don't see a scenario Kidd and Felton are not starting. Felton and Kidd run the PnR extremely well and keep the ball moving.

Shumps needs to be groomed to be Shumps. He was coming on at the of last season and could be a very good player for the Knicks, like 15pts,4assts,4rebs,2.5stls,45%fg,35%3p defensive stud good.
