I always get amped up for a Knicks vs Bulls matchup. Times have changed but during my childhood days of the early through mid 90's, I had a natural fear, hatred and respect for both MJ23 and that Chicago Bulls franchise. Times have changed, but those memories are always there.

If the Knicks were to ever advantage back to the NBA Finals? I'd like for us to eliminate all three of Chicago, Indy and Miami on our road to the finals. How sweet that would be. Memories.

He is out. Guns posted the tweet from Berman.

In a way this is good for Melo to get a good rest. As long as it's not a serious injury small injury can be a blessing in disguise. Melo should be refreshed when he comes back.

Meanwhile the Knicks can't take the Bulls for granted. They have to play them like Rose is still there.

It's not like Woodson's exactly burning him out.
He's played less minutes per game than all other star names (Kobe, Durant, LeBron) and even guys like Harden and Irving. Plus I'm sure there are more than a few left whose names don't even come up that often.

I know we've been beat on the board this season, but tonight is a great opportunity to see where we truthfully stand in regards to our ability to board off the glass. No better test than the Chicago Bulls. I have a feeling Tyson Chandler is going to bring it against his former team/franchise.

The Bulls also have one of if not the best defenses in the game today, so it'll be nice to see how our offense outside of Melo responds against a top of the line defense. They responded great against Miami, now we'll see how our team (minus Melo) performs on the road in Chicago.

Can't wait for tonight's game. A good measuring stick moving forward.

Thats a good point. He would've been playing 4 games in 5 nights. As long as we win its all good

I'm not comparing Melo to other guys just looking at the fact that the rest can be good for him. At some point the minutes will catch up with most of those other guys. For the 1st time in a while we have a chance to actually Not burn our players out and instead have them well rested. In the past we've had to bring guys back early and that didn't workout so well.

I hated Jordan everytime he eliminated our Ewing led Knicks. But as a basketball player, there has never been a player (still to this day) that I feared as much as Jordan during his prime years. Man was a machine.

Truth be told this means absolutely. The season is still very young. For example, the Knicks destroyed Miami on a tail end of a back-to-back road trip while the Heat had a day/night rest heading into that matchup.

Look for Nate Robinson to try and get something started for Chicago between JR and him..... remember the fight .

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

I've been nervous about this game all week, same as I was about the Bobcats game. This is gonna be a tough one.
